Meet Diego Leiva

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Diego Leiva. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Diego, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

For me, purpose comes from aligning my life with my faith and values. As a traditional Catholic, I find meaning in serving others, whether it’s through my work in HVAC or in acting, where I can connect with audiences. Purpose isn’t just one thing. It’s bringing intention and God into whatever I’m doing.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a traditional Catholic who’s always been passionate about both hands-on work and performing arts. I am an HVAC student at Riverside City College, and employee of Magnolia Heating and Cooling. Outside of that, I’m also an actor, bringing dedication and heart to every role I take on. Balancing my technical skills, my faith, and my creative side, I’m someone who values both craftsmanship and having a connection with what I do.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three qualities that have impacted my journey most are adaptability, commitment to learning, and strong values. Adaptability helps me handle the challenges in both HVAC and acting, and I’d encourage others to embrace change because that’s where real growth happens. Committing to learning has kept me curious and improving; if you’re just starting out, focus on building both technical and interpersonal skills. Finally, my values, grounded in faith, give me direction. Find what guides you and let that shape your approach.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was their unwavering support and the sacrifices they made to help me pursue my passions. They worked hard to provide opportunities for me in both education and my interests, whether it was investing in my HVAC training or encouraging my acting pursuits. Their belief in my potential has always motivated me to strive for excellence and make the most of the opportunities I’ve been given. I’m incredibly grateful for their guidance and the strong foundation they’ve provided, which has shaped who I am today.
