Meet Dimitris Zogaris

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dimitris Zogaris. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dimitris, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Developing my confidence and self-esteem was a very very hard process for me.
From a young age i was bullied in school for having a silent personality and being different than the other kids in school. I went through really tough times as a teenager.

The first thing that got me surpass all of this hate was my skateboard.
Skateboarding made me built my self-esteem and confidence more than anything else and thats why eventually i fell in love with skateboarding forever.

Skateboarding made me who i am.
As i was become better at it more and more that is when i started to gain more confidence.
People were starting to respect.

Another very very important thing was the fact that skateboarding taught me how to dress.
My music taste and skateboarding made me try different clothing styles on me.
Also i was influenced from some of my favourite Pro Skaters.
I started being more into fashion as i was growing up.

All of these things combined together have made me believe more into myself and grow my confidence.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

As i spend more time doing what i love i am trying to built a community around me that can be influenced and that can find a meaning in life.

I was the first Skater in my country to manage-built an Indoor Skatepark in Greece and start doing Skateboarding Lessons. Having classes and spreading the love of learning how to Skateboard.

As i travel back and forth from Greece to Los Angeles my Dream Goal is to take this passion and evolve it there.
I want to become one of the best skateboard instructors in Los Angeles.
And i want to prove that even people from poor Countries like Greece can make it out there.

I also do Social Media management and Graphic Designing.
Video Editing and Content Creation has been a very big thing of mine.
I love it!

I just wish one day ill be able to immigrate in the U.S. and make my Dream Come true.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three most important qualities, skills and areas of knowledge would be.

1. Influencing the younger generation and People.
2. Graphic Designing , Content Creation and Video Editing.
3. Reselling Business.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I am trying to learn more and more about business management and how to make a bigger profit-income through what i love.

Living in Greece and having to Travel back to L.A. all the time is frustrating.
Greece is one of the poorest countries now days and has the worst job incomes-salaries.
For a person like me having so much passion, ideas and drive in what i do Greece is unfortunately one of the worst choices to live.

If you are an Artist you basically suffer hahaha…

But that is why i am trying to brake free and make my way to the U.S.
Hopefully one day.
