Meet Divershines

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Divershines a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Divershines , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

Purpose isn’t something you find, it’s something you live.

That has been our greatest lesson. True purpose reveals itself when personal experiences turn into commitment, and when what you’ve lived becomes a driver for impact. For me, it came through my neurodiverse son, who showed me that opening doors for him also meant opening doors for many families. For Patricia, it was her close connection with neurodiversity in her family that revealed a clear truth: talent needs more than recognition, it needs real opportunities.

That’s how Divershines was born, as a project that brings together what we’ve lived with what we’ve learned, blending entrepreneurship with social commitment. For us, leadership isn’t just about achieving goals, it’s about building a model that creates sustainable impact and opens doors that didn’t exist before.

Our purpose isn’t just an ideal; it’s reflected in every family that finds support, in every neurodiverse entrepreneur who turns their talent into a real project, and in every step that proves inclusion is also a driver of progress. That’s what Divershines is: purpose in action.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

At Divershines, what we do comes from both a very personal and collective motivation: creating a space where neurodiversity has a voice and real opportunities for growth. Our journey began in 2023, inspired by close experiences with the autism spectrum and by the conviction that talent and creativity deserve a path to flourish.

Today, we are a platform that brings together mentorship, coaching, events, and community to support individuals on the spectrum and their families in their entrepreneurial journey. What excites us the most is seeing ideas that once seemed small turn into sustainable projects, and watching people gain confidence as they realize their talent truly have a place.

Divershines is meaningful because we do more than share tools. We build bridges between families and entrepreneurs, between brands and consumers, and between dreams and realities. Our mission is clear: to empower the neurodiverse community with innovation, guidance, and visibility, creating a movement that celebrates inclusion and independence.

Right now, we are expanding new initiatives, from more personalized mentorship programs to in-person events that combine networking with inclusive experiences. We are also strengthening our digital resources so that anyone, no matter where they are, can access knowledge and connections that bring them closer to their goals.

What makes us most proud is seeing entrepreneurs and families around us break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and transform their talents into businesses, products, and services that make an impact. That is the true essence of Divershines: a reminder that inclusion is not just a concept, but action, community, and future.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, we believe that three qualities have been essential in our journey: acceptance, perseverance, and continuous learning.

Acceptance, understood not as resignation but as a powerful tool, has been fundamental. Accepting differences, individual rhythms, and each person’s reality has allowed us to better understand, respect, and move forward with a more human and empathetic perspective. Acceptance opens doors, breaks down prejudices, and helps us build from reality instead of fighting against it.

Perseverance has also made a big difference. Building a purpose-driven project and creating inclusive spaces is not a straight path; it is full of challenges, doubts, and obstacles. Perseverance means getting up each time with the same conviction that continuing is worth it.

Finally, continuous learning has been indispensable. Staying curious, researching, exploring new tools, listening to stories, and learning from the experience of others has allowed us to grow not only as professionals but also as women, mothers, and entrepreneurs. That constant curiosity drives us to innovate and always give our best to the community.

Our advice for those who are just starting out is to cultivate these three qualities. Acceptance will bring clarity, perseverance will give you strength, and continuous learning will provide direction. Together, they create a strong foundation to move forward in any life or business project.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

Whenever we have the opportunity to be part of an interview, our goal is not only to share our own experience but to provide a message that truly offers learning to our community. Families who live closely with autism know that there isn’t just one obstacle. We face many ranging from limited job opportunities to social misunderstandings or the lack of adequate resources.

At Divershines, we have learned that every challenge can be transformed into an opportunity to innovate and open doors. That’s why, rather than focusing on a single obstacle, we dedicate ourselves every day to breaking barriers and building bridges. Our mission is to support entrepreneurs and their families with practical tools, a community of support, and the confidence they need to keep moving forward.

We believe the real way to overcome challenges is through collaboration and visibility. When we share experiences, highlight stories of those who have found a way forward, and create inclusive spaces, we are not only addressing problems but also inspiring others to believe that progress is possible.

The message we want to leave is clear: challenges are real and sometimes tough, but they are not the end of the road. With purpose, community, and perseverance, every challenge becomes a step toward a more inclusive future full of opportunities.
