Dj, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
At a early age, I made the decision that I wanted more out of life and wanting to changed where I reside, also being a better version of myself. Where I grew up there wasn’t a lot of motivation, but Im thankful for family and friends that has played different roles in my life this far to keep me motivated. My influence coming up was sports, the excitement and work Ive seen other athletes and witnessing there hard work paying off, I wanted those same results. All the work I’ve done and continue to do creates a positive outcomes for me, taking the same motivation and confidence since a child and taking on the world.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
4PlayEntertainment started after I wasn’t able to continue school and was forced to move back to my hometown Houston,Texas. Lots of people move there to be in the nightlife or even to afford the cost of living. But us from the historic city, sees the city in a different light especially coming from the inner city. Trying to prove yourself in a very political atmosphere can be challenge, but that’s where I am able to be my best, knowing that anything I do has to be top tier. Taking the initiative and putting in the work to connect with people and being able to create great memories for clients. 4PlayEntertainment is a multi-service that includes Dj,Photography,PartyDecor, we service all events from concerts, school, and cooperate gatherings. This company is based on providing a good experience and providing exceptional services to clients all over the world.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being able to listen and understanding what’s going on in the situation is where I’ve been able to succeed. Using these two things has granted me access to certain business and people of purpose. Showing respect and gratitude , this has been the key to success in my journey. Thriving for success there has to be time to work on your craft. Always count on yourself to do the work nobody else. There’s always a solution to every problem always take your time to develop.
Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
Being a disc jockey can be a challenge depending on the goals you’re trying to meet, it’s different ways you can into the business of a Dj or any business. For instance, I can be really good at one particular Country club playing country music but the same country music will not help if I booked at a hookah lounge, there a different approach that has to be taken, so personality I always recommend to always study your craft in any field that your in. Wherever you lack in your life try to make it a strength, putting limitation on your craft there’s no improvement. The greatness in you has to be activated, nobody knows until there’s a will to fix within yourself. Always use strengths and work on weakness until there’s progress.
