We were lucky to catch up with DJ Bella Foxx recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have DJ Bella with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I undoubtedly inherited my strong work ethic from my incredible mother. She has always been the epitome of hard work and dedication. From a young age, she instilled in me the values of perseverance and determination. My mother was unwavering in her pursuit of her dreams, and to me, she was a true superhero. I witnessed her juggling school, full-time work, and providing a loving, stable home for my younger brother and me as a single mother. Her unwavering determination is truly awe-inspiring!

I’m not just a full-time professional DJ; I’m a passionate music alchemist who believes in the magic of uniting people through melodies and evoking nostalgia. With over a decade of DJing experience, my journey has evolved, and today, I’m on a mission to align with opportunities that resonate with my true self. I’m seeking events that not only value my talent but also the craft I’ve painstakingly nurtured over time. Mastering this art requires dedication, and I’m determined to collaborate with clients who recognize and cherish that dedication. While I’ve been fortunate to grace the stage at prestigious events, my ultimate aspiration is to earn the reputation of a respected and skilled DJ who knows her craft inside out. My brand is a tribute to respect, empowerment, and the limitless potential within every woman, which is encapsulated in my motto, ‘Who said girls can’t DJ!'”
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The journey I’ve embarked upon has been profoundly shaped by three transformative elements: an unwavering commitment to consistency, the profound understanding that each person’s path is unique, and an extensive reservoir of musical knowledge. It’s the synergy of these three forces that has sculpted my career into the remarkable success story it stands as today.
I wholeheartedly urge those at the outset of their journey to embrace every step and let nothing deter them. Doubts may creep in, and the path may test your resolve, but I can assure you, the journey is an investment that will undoubtedly yield priceless rewards.”
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed I try to reset my mind. I often tell myself these are the things you dreamed of and you deserve this…you worked your butt off!
