We were lucky to catch up with DJ ISizzle recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

Honestly, my work ethic comes from gratitude. I’m grateful every time I get the chance to bring people together through music. I grew up believing that if you’re going to show up, you show up all the way—early, prepared, and ready to give people an unforgettable experience. Seeing the smiles, the energy, and the memories being made… that’s what fuels me. That’s why I go hard every single time.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Absolutely! I’m DJ iSizzle, a wedding DJ and MC dedicated to bringing energy, joy, and unforgettable moments to every couple’s big day. Weddings are my world. There’s nothing better than watching a room come alive, from the ceremony to that final packed dance floor. I show up early, focus on every detail, and make sure my couples feel supported from our first conversation to their grand exit.

I also host a weekly podcast, Behind The Booth with DJ iSizzle, where I share real stories, tips, and insights to help couples understand what truly makes a wedding flow and feel incredible.

At the end of the day, my mission is simple: create moments people remember and keep the dance floor thriving all night long.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the biggest things that shaped my journey were learning to read the crowd, becoming a strong communicator, and staying consistent. Reading the crowd comes from experience, so play as much as you can and pay close attention to how people react. Communication matters just as much. Ask questions, stay organized, and keep your couples in the loop. And consistency is everything. Show up prepared, give your best every time, and build habits that make you better with every event. Focus on these three areas and you’ll grow fast.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal clients are couples who are excited to celebrate their love and want a wedding that’s full of energy, joy, and unforgettable moments. They value music, connection, and a smooth flow throughout their day, and they’re open to collaboration to make their vision come to life. I work best with people who trust me to guide the timeline, read the room, and create an experience that keeps their guests engaged and having fun. Basically, couples who want their wedding to feel personal, fun, and truly memorable are my perfect clients.
