Don, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
We truly are a family at X Team Services and we depend on each other for our successes. This leads to long term employment and leadership in the community. A large body of research has found that psychological resilience is generally fostered by environmental/caregiving conditions during childhood that are loving and emotionally responsive.
This work suggests that, when the environment also provides ample opportunities to master challenges and stresses, it can have an “inoculating” or “steeling” effect, which can help promote resilience.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
X Team is rapidly becoming the leader in the home service industry. We lead the way in the development of technology, education, products and services for homes and businesses. We are a family-oriented business founded in Texas and dedicated to excellent customer service and high quality long-term solutions. No matter the season you can rely on our X Team family to deliver affordable solutions for all types of repairs and improvements in your residential or commercial location. We love our community and helping others.
The most important thing is loving our employees and clients.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Experience, Knowledge and our ability to take advantage of new discoveries. X Team’s mission is to provide top quality services for every job we do, no matter how small or large, and even for the most difficult situations. We also strive to educate the home or business owner about their property and what we find in our detailed inspections. And we aim to educate the general public about structural issues, solutions, and prevention and about wildlife and pest issues, interventions and prevention.
If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
We are facing major issues with the economy in 2023. You have to keep pushing, roll with the punches and be flexible in your thinking.
A majority of small business owners cite inflation as a top concern. Inflation is the top concern for small businesses regardless of region, number of employees, or sector.
