We were lucky to catch up with Donte Watson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Donte, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

By never forgetting where I started or what I’ve overcome.

the choice I’ve always made was to Rise, Not only just Rise but to Rise for something, before I rose I had to understand what I was Rising for, wanted to make sure it made since
And as I started to accomplish great thing I simply realized I was always risinng to achieve GREATNESS.
As a Person , and Or as a Public Figure.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My main focusing has been towards my music & caregiver careers . Beginning new ventures as I move up in levels. Being able to adjust to the level of professionalism such as speaking well and always having great energy. So lots of personal within changes to create a better world not only for myself but for those around me and that are worthy. Consistency & Resilience has Been key toy elevation and just continuing to ecome knowledgeable about the categories that inspires me to grow.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Listening Acknowledging & correcting

Doing those 3 things helped shaped me into the man I am. Understanding accountability & respect. Most importantly the fundamentals of the game.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

I would My attitude towards certain situations, My level of understanding has grown even more.
