Doremi, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I always been a hard fighter but after 4 years of therapy before my divorce and after my divorce, I realized that I was fighting for something that it was giving me pleasure or satisfaction,, I recognize my abilities, love and passion for my love ones, my business and friends, I kept working hard for my dreams, confort and happiness. I found all the answers inside myself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I have a small business that offer customized dresses, alteration and Sewing class. I start long time ago as a hobby at home to get some extra income for myself and the family. My marriage start having serious problems and told myself to take my business seriously in case the worst happened. The business was growing very slow and my relationship was getting worst every year. I just let it goes by itself. My business was my illusion and place of confort and therapy. Today is profitable and fortunately still growing. I feel that my work is to help people, through the experience with all my clients, is making me look forward to new projects to make it bigger. I love to help people, how I help them and at the same time getting a salary to live confortable.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
During my therapies I realized that I could get more resources from online to know me more. I watched and still listening podcast, videos, reels, etc, of encouragement. The three main skills I took was: -Determination.. work hard every day for my goals.
-Dicipline
-Resources to my business and my feelings.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
Knowing myself and preparing to be a better person. I listen healthy and productive podcast, videos, classes online and lots of networking. Unconsciously I’m inspiring many people and that make work harder to proof that everybody can do it.
