Meet Doriel Yeager

We were lucky to catch up with Doriel Yeager recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Doriel, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
I love this question because when people hating that means I’m doing something great and they just want to trick me out of my position. So when the haters start talking their noise and the naysayers start whispering behind my back, that’s when I gotta channel that inner Dog mentality inside of me with a twist of divine intervention. Because Jesus faced his fair share of doubters and haters too. He didn’t fold or get discouraged or even pay attention to their ignorance ; he flipped the script and kept on grinding and completed his mission. I’ve learned that Persistence isn’t just about grit, it’s about faith. Faith in myself , in my purpose, and faith in God. So when those haters come knocking, I just lace up my spiritual boots and keep marching forward. Because at the end of the day, their hate ain’t got nothing on the love and strength I get from God. I just stay true to my hustle, keep my eyes on the prize, and remember, even in the darkest alleys, the light of faith will guide me through. So let the haters hate and the naysayers say what they wanna say, because at the end of the day I know I wasn’t placed here to please everybody. I have a mission to complete and I gotta Keep pushing, keep believing, and make the main thing the main thing and give God the glory when it’s all said and done.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am the proud owner of SCOE Apparel (Spread Christ Own Everything), a brand that seamlessly blends faith and fashion. SCOE was inspired by the passing of my oldest son, Doriel Jae Yeager Jr, in the midst of my depression God blessed me with the idea and dream of creating my own brand and SCOE became in a sense my new baby. Since his passing  I’ve embarked on a journey to inspire and uplift others through the power of style and spirituality. SCOE Apparel isn’t just about clothing—it’s a movement. It’s about spreading a message of faith, empowerment, and self-ownership, one garment at a time. With SCOE, we aim to redefine what it means to express your faith with confidence and style. Furthermore, I am honored to be a WAL (World Abundance League) Agent. In this role, I am part of a global network of agents dedicated to promoting abundance, prosperity, and success for individuals and communities around the world. Through collaboration, education, and empowerment, we work to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In my eventful journey there are three main qualities that stand out as pillars of strength and guidance: faith, resilience, and humility.

Firstly, faith in Christ has been the cornerstone of my journey which was instilled into me at an early age. It’s the enduring belief that there’s a greater purpose beyond what we can see or comprehend. So my advice to those starting out is to nurture and deepen your spiritual connection. Spend time in prayer, immerse yourself in scripture, and seek guidance from mentors and pastors or even peers who can walk alongside you on this journey of faith.

Secondly, resilience is key. Life throws curveballs, setbacks happen, I’ve endured unimaginable tragedies with the loss of siblings , a child , and close family. Failed relationships, job loss and many more things I’ve had to endure but It’s how we bounce back that defines us. Cultivate resilience by embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. Don’t let adversity knock you down; let it fuel your determination to press on. Remember, even in our weakest moments, Christ’s strength is made perfect.

Lastly but certainly not least, humility. It’s easy to get caught up in our own successes, but true greatness is within humility. Stay grounded, acknowledge your limitations, and be open to learning from others. Surround yourself with a community of support and be willing to both give and receive guidance. Humility opens doors to deeper connections and fosters an environment of growth and collaboration.

So to those embarking on their journey, I say this: anchor yourself in faith, embrace resilience, and walk humbly with God. Stay steadfast in your pursuit of growth, and remember that every step forward is a testament to the power of Christ working within you. I encourage everyone to read as much as possible to gain knowledge and understanding of things we weren’t taught in school .

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
