Meet Dr. Andrena Phillips

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Andrena Phillips. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Dr. Andrena , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from lived experience, faith, and an unshakable decision to keep going. Life has tested me in ways that forced me to grow beyond who I thought I was. I didn’t always feel strong, but I stayed committed. I learned early that resilience isn’t loud. Sometimes it’s simply getting up again when no one is clapping and choosing not to let hardship harden your heart.

It also comes from knowing that my story is bigger than me. I carry purpose, legacy, and responsibility not just for myself, but for the people I’m called to impact. Every challenge I’ve survived became evidence that I can endure and evolve. I remind myself that I’ve made it through things I once thought would break me, and that memory fuels my strength.

There were moments when I had to sit with the discomfort, grieve what was lost, and still believe in what was possible. Resilience showed up in the pauses, in the prayers, and in the quiet rebuilding when no one saw the work being done. Those unseen moments taught me patience, discipline, and the power of trusting the process even when the outcome wasn’t clear.

Most of all, my resilience comes from faith and self trust. Trusting God. Trusting the process. Trusting that even in the hardest seasons, nothing is wasted. I don’t see resilience as perfection or constant strength. I see it as persistence, obedience, and the courage to keep moving forward even when the road is heavy.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

At this stage of my journey, I am deeply focused on building purpose driven platforms that create real, lasting transformation. My work centers on leadership development, personal mastery, and professional growth through coaching, speaking, training, and certification. Everything I do is rooted in helping people become whole so they can lead, build, and live with clarity, confidence, and intention.

What excites me most is the impact. Watching individuals gain confidence, find their voice, and turn their purpose into meaningful work never gets old. I specialize in creating transformational experiences not surface level motivation, but spaces where healing, strategy, and growth meet. Whether I’m working with leaders, entrepreneurs, or aspiring coaches, my approach blends authenticity, structure, and heart. I don’t just inspire people to dream bigger, I help them move forward with practical tools and aligned action.

My brand is built on resilience, growth, and legacy. It’s a reflection of my own journey and the belief that nothing we go through is wasted. Through my businesses and initiatives, I continue to expand opportunities for coaching certification, leadership training, and community building. I’m also developing new programs, speaking engagements, and collaborative experiences designed to elevate voices and create sustainable impact.

What I want readers to know is that this work is personal. It’s purpose led, people centered, and rooted in transformation. My brand is not about perfection or hustle culture. It’s about becoming, evolving, and leading with integrity. Everything I offer is designed to remind people that their story matters, their growth is possible, and their next level is within reach when they commit to the journey.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three things have had the greatest impact on my journey: self awareness, resilience, and strategic execution.

Self awareness was foundational. Knowing who I am, how I lead, and where I needed to grow allowed me to make better decisions and stay aligned with my purpose. My advice is to spend time reflecting, asking hard questions, and being honest with yourself. Journaling, coaching, and feedback from trusted people can accelerate this process.

Resilience carried me through the seasons when things didn’t move as fast as I hoped or when life hit unexpectedly. The key is understanding that resilience is built, not inherited. Early in your journey, learn how to sit with discomfort without quitting. Develop routines that support your mental and emotional health, and remember that setbacks are part of the process, not a signal to stop.

Strategic execution is what turned vision into results. Dreams stay dreams without action. I learned how to plan, prioritize, and move intentionally even when I didn’t have everything figured out. For those starting out, focus on mastering the basics. Set clear goals, take consistent action, and don’t wait for perfection. Progress comes from movement, not overthinking.

My biggest advice is to be patient with yourself while staying committed to growth. Invest in your development, stay teachable, and don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. When you combine awareness, resilience, and strategy, you create a foundation that can sustain both success and purpose.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I am always open to aligned partnerships and intentional collaborations. I believe the right collaborations expand impact, elevate voices, and create meaningful change. I’m especially interested in working with leaders, entrepreneurs, coaches, creatives, nonprofits, and organizations that are committed to empowerment, growth, and transformation and who value integrity, purpose, and excellence.

The best collaborations for me are those rooted in shared vision and mutual respect. Whether it’s co creating programs, speaking engagements, community initiatives, publishing projects, or leadership development opportunities, I look for partners who are serious about impact and ready to do the work. I value collaboration that is strategic, heart led, and focused on creating real outcomes for the people we serve.

If you’re reading this and feel aligned, I welcome the connection. You can reach out through my website or connect with me on social media. I encourage thoughtful introductions and conversations that begin with alignment, clarity, and purpose. When the vision is shared, collaboration becomes powerful and transformative.
