Meet Dr. Chardonnae Baity

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Chardonnae Baity. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Dr. Chardonnae with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Honestly, I believe that work ethic is a trait /attribute that is born within you, that can be loss as well as acquired through stages in someone’s life. My fathers work ethic was wicked, can’t stop won’t stop! Someone who would always find a way and never looked to quit. As they say, “some apples don’t fall too far from the tree.” I’ve always carried a mindset of, “as long as I believe I can, I know I can,” why? Because 99% of the people are counting you out anyways!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I, Chardonnae. Wait. Dr. Chardonnae Terell Baity; a role model, artist, and most of all risk taker, who believe in making the impossible POSSIBLE! I’ve taken the journey of what was deemed impossible to most and made it possible. From every “No,” to every “You Can’t.” They received a smirk because little did they know, I did have the weight of the world on my shoulders and still smiled like everything was fabulous. I did make straight “A’s” when they said, “you know.” I did graduate top 4%. I did walk-on and play division-I football for the University of South Florida. I did become a Doctor. I am a Pharmacist. I am a creator. I am hope! From yours truly, I’ll be launching a brand in a lane of its own which is known as Can’t Won’t Cut It. Can’t Won’t Cut It LLC, An inspiring, aspiring brand with a mission statement geared towards achieving, winning, and most of all making the IM-possible POSSIBLE. WIRED TO WIN, I CAN, I WILL, I WON’T BE DENIED!!! Wherever you need to be or whatever you need to do as far as action, to get to the top of your goals in life! Apply the Can’t Won’t Cut It mindset and forever win!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The 3 most impactful qualities on my journey that are instilled in me would have to be first, mindset. Having a mindset of “Can’t Won’t Cut It,” basically lets me know that there is no way out but to follow through despite everyone around you telling you, “you can’t.” If there is no struggle, there is no progress, Fredrick Douglas. The second quality would be work ethic. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work! It’s a cold world out there, sometimes you just have to be colder. The third quality would and in no particular order would have to be the vision. If you cannot see yourself doing it, winning, graduating, passing the test, etc., then there is no point of even taking the first step because you have already failed yourself my friend.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
This book will forever be engraved within me, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck.” by Mark Manson. This book, if not had taught me some valuable lessons, it sure has shaped and help enhance what was already within me. You clearly cannot give a f*ck about every single thing that’s going on or you will simply drive yourself insane. Once I set my goals on something I am pretty good at overcoming the obstacles in my way to achieve what I set out to accomplish. However while reading this book, the fire to my flame burned a little different and more impactful to the point where I thought maybe I need to shoot beyond the stars to see what’s out there.
