Meet Dr. Cheyenne Bryant

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dr. Cheyenne Bryant a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Dr. Cheyenne , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Once I found myself, I found my purpose. You don’t find your purpose. You already have it- it’s in you. It is you! Once you find self, there’s your purpose. I found my purpose through my broken pieces. After gaining awareness of how broken I was, I began to make peace of what was broken. Upon, making peace I found my love and purpose for helping others heal from their traumas, heartbreaks, and dysfunction. The healing tools that, I applied to myself became the exact same tools that heal millions of people across the globe today. Every time I’m privileged to be a part of someones healing journey and breakthrough a piece of me heals and breaks through too. It is one of the most fulfilling experience I’ve had.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m the founder of The Dr. Bryant Institute. The Dr. Bryant Institute is a Psychology Mental Health based institute. We are Psychology experts that provide Life Coaching from a hybrid modality. The Hybrid modality is the most effective modality that consists of a therapeutic and coaching experience. Therapy focuses on past traumas, processing them, and healing from them. Life Coaching helps the client get in contact with who and where they are now, helps them create who and where they want to be and sets attainable goals to reach at the fastest, healthiest, most effective way possible. Which means our clients get a “one stop” shop when working with us. We provide one on one coaching, couples coaching, family coaching, group coaching, small business and corporate coaching.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey are relationship building, emotional intelligence, and mentorship. Relationships will get you in doors money can’t buy. Emotional intelligence enables you to effectively article what you need and gain knowledge of what others need. It allows you to work with people who obtain different views, different leadership styles, and different characteristics and not personalize the difference between you.

The advice I you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these are to get a mentor that is where you desire to be in the future. Ask many questions, but also be a great listener and observer. Build as many relationships in the field you are in. Always come with an offering prior to asking for something. That’s called relationship equity.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most important thing my parents have done for me is love me unconditionally, allow me to be my authentic self, and support every dream, I’ve ever had. I couldn’t have been blessed with better parents. I’m truly grateful!
