Meet Dr. Cheyenne Bryant

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dr. Cheyenne Bryant a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Cheyenne , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

Whether, I’am the only one in the room that looks like me or not God gave me the address, so I belong there. With that level of faith and understanding how can one not be effective and successful. I show up confident in my expertise and purpose to deliver that at which I brought with me; wisdom, healing, love, and effective life changing tools.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

The Dr. Bryant Institute is a Psychology Mental Health based company. We are Psychology experts that provide Life Coaching from a hybrid modality. The Hybrid modality is the most effective modality that consists of a therapeutic and coaching experience. Therapy focuses on past traumas, processing them, and healing from them. Life Coaching helps the client get in contact with who and where they are now, helps them create who and where they want to be and sets attainable goals to reach at the fastest, healthiest, most effective way possible. Which means our clients get a “one stop” shop when working with us. We provide one on one coaching, couples coaching, family coaching, group coaching, small business and corporate coaching.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back the three most impactful qualities in my journey were believing in myself, obtaining a sense of self, and my faith in God! Believing in myself created momentum for others to believe in me. It set the bar for how valuable others seen me. God blesses you at the level of your belief. Obtaining a sense of self allowed me to know who I’am, what I stand for, and what I won’t tolerate. It is the barometer for boundaries and expansion. My faith in God enabled me to keep going when it got dark, keep trusting myself when I didn’t understand, and know that the plans God has for me WILL actualize as long as I stay the course.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

My book “Mental Detox” has played the most important role in my development. The most valuable wisdom in my book are the tools I used along my healing journey. Mental Detox uses a garden metaphor to describe the importance of a well maintained garden (life). It teaches how to identify what needs to be pruned and plucked out of your life and how to plant new seeds that bring about healed and peaceful harvest.
