Meet Dr. Jairo Borja

We recently connected with Dr. Jairo Borja and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Jairo, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

I get my optimism from striving to be the best. I have been in and out of debt. I am not afraid to take risks if I know the rewards are greater. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don’t lose, It’s a learning experience. From that learning experience I make sure that I don’t make the same mistakes again.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I help coaches/consultants elevate their business through networking in 90 days. I have a program Elevation to as where it’s a 12-week program that you get exposed to raising capital, networking, minimum viable product and other lessons for entrepreneurs to make it to $1M in revenue through my group coaching program. I also help nonprofit organizations with curriculum review, development, speakers, coaching and other learning outcomes. Lastly, I am a multifamily real estate investor. I am part owner of a 52-unit in Southern Pines, NC and I invested in a 48-unit in Hickory, NC. Currently, I am raising capital for some deals in Ohio and Virginia. I am excited to wake up and tackle issues for my clients and for me. Also, I have a new book, Dealmaker: How to Raise Unlimited Capital for Your Deals. I have been speaking and promoting the book throughout the country. I love discussing my story of how networking, relationships and learning on scaliability have helped me up to thsi point.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Networking, power of relationships and taking massive action. Money is attracted to speed. I do my due diligence and if I know it’ll work, I will go for it. I would say find a mentor, find your tribe and don’t go at it alone. Find someone who’s done it already so that you don’t make the same mistakes.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always looking to connect with other coaches/consultants looking to be affiliate partners for my Elevation Group Coaching Program. Please email Sofia at sofia@borjaconsultinggroup.com if interested in being an affilitate partner. We are offering great incentives and it’s a fantastic program.
