Meet Dr. Ryan Rubin

We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Ryan Rubin recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Dr. Ryan with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I’ve always had a strong work ethic and a drive to continuously grow. Since high school, I’ve juggled multiple jobs, each one offering a chance to develop new skills. Whether it was working as a lifeguard, personal trainer, caterer, or valet, I’ve always sought opportunities to learn and improve. Even while in school, I was determined to make extra money and gain experience in different areas.

When I started building my practice, I continued that mindset by getting involved in the community, such as being on the soccer field for injury management and actively participating in networking groups. For me, it’s hard to sit still or remain stagnant in my career. I am always looking for ways to grow, whether that’s expanding my knowledge, improving my skills, or building connections that contribute to the practice’s success. I want to ensure both my personal growth and the growth of the practice, and I’m constantly seeking opportunities to make that happen.

My strong work ethic comes from a deep-rooted desire to always do better, both for myself and those around me. Growing up, my family and peers were a huge influence—they pushed me to reach my full potential and never settle for mediocrity. Whether it was academics, sports, or work, I was always encouraged to keep improving. That drive has stuck with me, and it’s what motivates me to work hard and constantly seek new challenges and opportunities to grow. I believe that having that push from my support system has shaped my mindset of striving for excellence in everything I do.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My ultimate goal is to help people live better lives by supporting their journey to heal faster, recover better, and prevent future injuries. I’m passionate about providing care that not only addresses immediate issues but also promotes long-term wellness. As I look to expand and open two locations, I’m focused on reaching as many people as possible and offering them the benefits of chiropractic care, physical therapy, and injury prevention. By doing so, I hope to make a lasting impact on individuals’ health and well-being, empowering them to live life to the fullest without limitations.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

One of my core strengths is the ability to accurately diagnose issues and create effective treatment plans. I believe that truly understanding the problem is the first step in helping patients heal. Equally important is the ability to connect with people—building trust and rapport is essential for effective care. I take the time to listen to my patients, understanding not only their symptoms but also their concerns and goals. This allows me to offer a holistic approach to their care, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healing journey. Lastly, another quality is patience. This relates to anyway I interact with.

How would you describe your ideal client?

An ideal client is someone who is truly invested in their health and wellness, recognizing the importance of taking the time to heal properly. They are motivated to work through any pain or injuries they may have, whether it’s a nagging workout injury, recovering from surgery, or dealing with the aftermath of a car accident. This person understands that healing is a process and is committed to doing the work necessary to regain mobility, strength, and overall well-being. They are proactive in seeking care and are open to both chiropractic and physical therapy treatments that support their journey to recovery, long-term health, and injury prevention.
