Meet Dr. Sherry Kelishadi

We recently connected with Dr. Sherry Kelishadi and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Sherry, thank you for joining us today and sharing your experiences and acquired wisdom with us. Burnout is a huge topic these days and so we’d love to kick things off by discussing your thoughts on overcoming or avoiding burnout
I place a significant emphasis on self-care to ensure burnout doesn’t creep in. My routine includes Pilates sessions 4-5 times a week, daily meditation, rejuvenating spa days, reading inspirational books, socializing with friends over lunches, and spending quality time with my husband and children. Additionally, I engage in recreational activities like playing tennis and driving a stick shift, which I am passionate about in my free time! These diverse pursuits not only keep me energized but also prevent burnout from taking hold.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an in-house clinical pharmacist at SSK Plastic Surgery alongside my husband, Dr. Sean Kelishadi, FACS. I am deeply dedicated to motivating patients mentally, styling clients, and optimizing their hormone and nutrient levels, especially before and after major procedures performed by our team. These three areas constitute my primary focus, and I am extremely passionate about them. I firmly believe that by addressing both the mental and physical well-being of my patients and clients, I can help them unleash their fullest potential.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three pivotal elements in my journey have been hard work, mindfulness, and discipline. These qualities have propelled me to my current position. For those embarking on their own journey, I would recommend cultivating these attributes diligently. Embrace hard work to achieve your goals, practice mindfulness to stay centered and focused, and maintain discipline to ensure consistent progress.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is anyone in need of motivation, styling expertise, and improvement in their physical well-being. Whether it’s individuals seeking mental support, a style transformation, or enhanced physical vitality, I am here to assist them in becoming the best version of themselves.
