Meet Dr. Tatiana

We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Tatiana recently and have shared our conversation below.

Dr. Tatiana, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

No matter what, I never forget why I started and who I started this for. When I remember that I am aligned with a higher purpose, it is a lot easier to sift through the noise and stay aligned on my path.

The best response is by staying true to your mission, because …”who are they?” – they won’t know the work involved. In an ideal world, the people worth listening to will respect you enough to communicate with you instead of about you.

But if you really had to think about it (don’t!), you realize they don’t know you or what you’ve given up to bring your vision to life. And more importantly, they won’t understand how important the positive impact of my vision is meant to have on the communities I’m meant to serve, so I can’t let it stop me either. I always say if you’re not ready to be “misunderstood” then you are not ready to lead.

Especially in my line of work, mental and behavioral health, there are already so many stigmas and challenges to overcome to consistently deliver a positive impact for my clients. And then, the “behind the scenes”, the business side of healthcare poses another set. I realized that “things grow where energy flows” – and when balancing so much inside and out, you have to be able to prioritize your focus to remain in control of your future.

I have to maintain systems of balance to support myself along the way like:
– Nurture my village
– Be intentional in marketing and public relations
– Establish proper legal firms/teams to support scaling
– Consistently assess and align with the right business partners
– And keep an open ear and heart for your community

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

When I started in January 2021, the purpose of our program was to educate families on mental and behavioral health, and advocate for those diagnosed with ASD and learning disabilities. However, we’ve grown since then and I’m so excited to say that now my focus is on building a multi-business brand and force in health and wellness.

I am working on a lifelong program that supports children from the time they are diagnosed and through each phase of life. Some new launches to expect this year will extend beyond education and advocacy, bringing exclusive connections and referrals to mental and behavioral health resources; quality/certified therapists, caregivers, and supervisors; supported living services/housing; transportation; and life planning.

I’m a multifaceted-preneur: a beauty-brains lifestyle influencer and philanthropist. I am also always looking for ways to give back to the community through volunteer work, hosting, sponsoring, and fundraising/donating. Stay tuned for the upcoming Queen’s Table – an entrepreneurial event that I host to build a community of businessmen and women – and new events/activities I will have with the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, and our local schools.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful in my journey thus far are financial literacy, business psychology, and building community.

Financial Literacy – There is so much information out there not even a Master’s degree in Business Administration will teach us. You have to find what works for you and as a business owner, know about estate planning, structuring your business, protecting your assets, and resource management. It is foundational to keep up with your accounts, bookkeeping, and have a reliable CPA if you want to continue to be successful.

Business Psychology – Not everybody has the magic touch to put their thoughts into action, and cliché to say we should just keep creating to-do lists, but my general rule/business psychology hack is always to check with your energy first, and take actions second. In times of trial, ask yourself “Does this align with who I am, my goals, my vision?” If not, don’t waste your time. Instead, reset and accept only what does align with your energy.

Community – Speaking of energy and alignment, you have to accept that your new life is going to cost you your old one. Not everybody will come with you to the next level of your success. When you remain aligned with who you are, your discernment grows. You will better vet the intentions of people around you. And I promise you, the right ones will remind you of exactly who you are. Stay positive and open-minded to growth and go where you are appreciated.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

My ideal clients are those seeking more information and access to mental and behavioral health, and are in need of assistance with navigating the journey of ASD and learning disabilities. Their goals are to find funding, programs and services that fit the needs of their loved ones and so that’s where I come in to help educate families on their options and connect them to resources.
