Meet Dr. Victory Anyiam

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dr. Victory Anyiam. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dr. Victory below.

Hi Dr. Victory, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience is deeply rooted in my personal journey of transformation. From struggling with weight issues since childhood until high school, I faced numerous challenges and setbacks. However, it was during that pivotal moment before entering high school when I made the conscious decision to prioritize my health and well-being. I embarked on a rigorous exercise and nutrition regimen, shedding over 30 pounds and completely transforming my lifestyle.

This profound shift not only empowered me physically but also instilled within me a newfound sense of resilience and determination. I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of discipline, perseverance, and self-belief. It’s this experience of overcoming obstacles and achieving personal growth that drives me as a sports chiropractor today.

Having walked the path of transformation myself, I intimately understand the struggles and triumphs that come with embarking on a journey to better health. It fuels my passion for helping others unlock their full potential and live their best lives. My own journey serves as a constant reminder of the resilience within each of us and the immense potential for positive change, inspiring me to guide and support my clients on their own paths to wellness and vitality.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the owner and founder of Victory Chiropractic and Performance. I’m a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician specializing in treating sports related injuries. I’m passionate about helping my patients not only determine the root cause of their condition, but also in teaching them how to prevent its recurrence. The goal is to get our patients to perform their desired activities to the best of their ability without pain or hindrance and teach them how to prevent future injuries. My practice is located in Wynnewood, PA right outside of Philadelphia. My favorite part about the location is that it’s less than 10 minutes away from Lower Merion High School where Kobe Bryant played basketball before getting drafted into the NBA. Kobe is my all time favorite player and I watched him throughout his whole career so to have my practice located right in Lower Merion is a surreal moment for me.

At Victory Chiropractic & Performance our mission is simple, we strive to improve training, performance and reduce injuries through increasing range of motion, muscle strength and agility for physically active individuals that want to perform their best. We help in accomplishing this by giving them the blueprint to maximize their potential through my effective treatment plans utilizing chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release, and functional rehab exercises. Our vision is to be a trusted leader in sports medicine providing chiropractic care.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
One quality I would say that was very beneficial for me was my work ethic. I always wanted to deliver high quality results in any task I was given no matter how small because I knew building that foundation early on would translate that much easier in any career I choose. Another quality I would say is important is the ability to develop relationships. Knowing how to network and talk to people I was just always naturally good at but I do think it’s a skill you can also train the more you do it and communicate effectively. I also think the ability to put yourself out there is a necessary quality to develop. Some people hold themselves back from achieving more in their careers because they’re nervous or scared to talk in front of people out of fear of what people will think about them. You have to be brave enough to display your unique self to the public and put yourself out there even if you feel uncomfortable doing it.

How would you describe your ideal client?
As a sports chiropractor, my ideal client possesses certain characteristics that align with my approach to care and commitment to promoting wellness and athletic performance. Ideal clients for me typically prioritize their health and fitness and are committed to maintaining an active lifestyle. They understand the importance of preventive care, injury prevention, and optimizing their physical performance. They also value the importance of getting to the root cause of their issue as most people tend to see me when they’re in pain or haven’t gotten their issue resolved after seeing other providers.
