Meet Dravon Rangel

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dravon Rangel. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dravon below.

Dravon, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

My confidence began to really develop once I started to step fully into my truth and authenticity while also doing the internal work to develop a better world around me. What that meant was intentionally choosing to speak life into the things I wish to see breathe. Taking up space by not dimming my light or silencing my voice. Setting boundaries and aligning myself with the right friendships and relationships that are beneficial to my growth.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Dravon Rangel, I am born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Dallas, Texas. I have always been passionate about love and life. Growing up, I was always curious about the way things worked and how we were created in this life. Growing up in the church and heavily doused in Jesus, I was the girl my Grandmother worried about because I had questions beyond just believing in what I could not see. This made me fall deeply in love with my own spirituality. I went on to attend college at Texas Tech University on a full Volleyball scholarship, which I am forever grateful for. I studies phycology, sociology with a focus i criminology. Let’s say between my education and m y spiritual nature, I learned a lot.

This was the beginning of my creative journey and my desire to be the light in a world filled with darkness, false beliefs and misunderstanding. I am passionate about teaching women how to step into their power and raising my 4 boys to be secure, confident and beautiful your men who are able to exist unapologetically in a society filled with empowered Women while recognize the power and The God that exist within themselves.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Learning how to love myself, set boundaries and take up space in a world that teaches women not to.
Waking up and intentionally practicing self love, develops your confidence and organically the evolution os setting boundaries and knowing who you are, what you’re worthy of, come with that.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I would spent every day and every moment loving my family, deeply. Traveling the world and capturing memories while also basking in each moment.
