Meet Draza Jansky

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Draza Jansky. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Draza below.

Hi Draza , so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?

“Choose and Move” is a a mantra I’ve learned to live by!
It came to me in a dream when I was at a major turning point in my life, and I still use it daily.
It’s a powerful antidote to perfectionism and overthinking.

The reality is that every choice we make in life involves risk. It’s built into the game. There is zero certainty on this journey. So I’ve learned to embrace the positives of that. I use it as inspiration to make moves that offer the most potential growth. (Because not moving also involves risk!)

Honestly, every “miraculous” event in my life was a result of having so much desire and clarity that the actions I needed to take didn’t feel so risky. They felt obvious and essential. My alignment helped me stay focused on my vision through even the most intense challenges.

It’s when we don’t have this clarity of vision that we begin to leak energy into worry and doubt. At that point, clinging to the known often appears safer than evolution. But in reality, clinging fearfully to anything we love just drains the life out of it. (We’ve all been there!) When we do have clarity, everything feels more doable. We have more strength and motivation to move through whatever arises.

So one thing I love getting better at every day is viewing life as a game.

The most dynamic and successful clients I coach view life that way. They focus and train for the game with the passion of an athlete. They are loving and responsible. But they realize ultimately life is a type of game. They know seeing it in that light will make them more flexible, resilient and generous. They know when to focus, and they know when to let go.

As a good friend loves to remind me: “If you’re not open to losing, you never win.” (He knows I need to hear that!) And at a macro level, even the concept of winning and losing is an illusion. We’re learning and growing no matter what! When we’re focused on the journey, the experience, the creation . . . it leads to better results.

And it’s more dynamic. Sexy. Fun!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a Mindset Coach for personal and professional life! I help people upgrade their mental habits and redesign their thinking patterns. It sounds very technical, but it’s also an engaging and creative process. It’s similar to renovating the design of your home to support who you are now and who you desire to become. It’s Interior Design for Your Mind!

My work balances inspiration and passion with consistency and accountability. To quote a start-up founder I work with: “We have fun and get sh#t done!”

My clientele includes innovators in tech and entertainment, so I’ve learned to communicate in a way that addresses their sense of logic and strategy as well as their imagination and vision.

I was active in the performing arts early in life, so I have a visceral understanding of how imagination and discipline transform ideas into material reality. The same focus and creativity artists utilize can be applied to creating a business, upgrading your financial health, and building powerful relationships. Your life story the most important work of art you will ever create !

The most rewarding thing about coaching is seeing clients grow beyond what they thought was possible. It gives them a new level of clarity and confidence. It’s a very fulfilling way to collaborate with another human being.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My top Three are:

1. Refining and trusting my intuition / inner guidance.
2. Learning how to be clear and decisive under pressure.
3. Practicing transforming everything that comes my way – “positive” or “negative” – in a way that upgrades my clarity and creativity.

I developed my intuition by keeping organized data on it. I grew up in a time and place where “knowing” things at an intuitive level, and taking action based on inner guidance that operates like high-speed logic, was not well understood or supported. Much of the scientific data on how human intuition operates wasn’t available yet.

So when I proactively began to keep data on my intuitive hits, and use that data with success, it gave me confidence. It proved to me how practical and useful that skill is.
.
The most accomplished clients I’ve worked with use intuition, dream yoga, and visualization techniques on a regular basis. It’s a commonly utilized ability at the highest levels of science, art/entertainment, and technology.

My recommendation to any human is to develop both the logical and intuitive mind. Learn to work with both in harmony. We need both in order to survive and thrive here.

Once you develop your inner guidance, #2 and #3 will come more easily. You will trust yourself enough to be clear and decisive under pressure. And you will develop the ability to work effectively with (and transform!) whatever shows up in your life journey.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

YES to collaborations! I love sharing the work in innovative ways. If you’ve got a great idea, hit me up!

My latest passion is consulting with health and wellness companies who are making coaching more accessible and affordable using apps and AI. It doesn’t take the place of live human coaching. It creates ways to stay consistent and accountable between sessions.

I also love live interactive collaborations, whether it’s in traditional venues like universities and businesses, or more unusual spaces.
I’ve taught Practical Intuition workshops for a design studio and a crystal store in MalibuI! I’ve done mini coaching sessions at a wine bar in Agoura Hills. (Wine included!) Last March I presented an interactive workshop on “Spring Cleaning Your Mindset” with Liminal Coaching App and NeueHouse in Hollywood.

I’m all in for the more traditional venues as well. I love speaking on panels, doing interviews/podcasts, and guest lecturing at Universities.
