Meet Duryea Paige

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Duryea Paige. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Duryea below.

Duryea, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

I turn negativity and criticism from haters into fuel for my perseverance. Instead of letting their comments bring me down, I use them to drive myself forward, improve, and grow. I remind myself that what others think or do doesn’t affect me personally. Often, those who criticize you may secretly admire you or are simply expressing their own insecurities. I choose to view these critics as imaginary and stay focused on my own path.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I feel excited about all the opportunities that my Company offers for growth, not just for my career but also in assisting others. Right now, we have Jizzy, a 14-year-old singer, rapper, dancer, and songwriter from Erie, PA,
Working with Producers for her because because we know what she is destined for——- stardom, working alongside a great mentor, Mr. JDH. I am also working side by side with my wife to grow our family and am thankful to have a Partner like Sasha Walker out of New Jersey on my side. We have some great projects coming up, and I published my first book this year. I am looking for all opportunities to help and connect myself and others to opportunities and cultivate a mindset for better living.
Also literally signing contracts every week to expand this vision
Not to mention a lot of articles releasing about me(lol) which is crazy

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

These skills may vary based on the period and area I’ve worked in, but my main three skills are:

1. Persistence
2. Faith
3. Hard work

For those new to their journey, my advice is to:

– Know what you want.
– Understand why you’re doing it.
– Know your purpose before starting anything.

Never, and I mean never, get into anything you can’t see yourself being successful in. Remember, success requires effort. Labor isn’t always physical; it can mean applying yourself more, reading more, and learning from others’ losses and gains. Have faith in something higher than yourself, like the Creator and Savior. Persistence is key to reaching your goals.

In sales, we often use the acronym RHINO, which stands for “Running Hard In Non-Wanted Obstacles.” Maintaining a positive stride is crucial for persistence. For anyone just starting out, I urge you to study, read, and then read again. Plan your actions, set goals, and be strategic. Share your plans only with those who genuinely care. Pray and dedicate yourself to greater causes. Stay focused.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

Finding hardworking, dedicated individuals who aren’t looking for a quick, “microwave” career and are committed to growth and improvement is challenging. The biggest obstacle is relying on others to take their opportunities seriously and distinguishing between genuine help and potential harm.

To resolve this, I focus on:

1. Personally working with the team members I have, helping them develop their skills.
2. Networking extensively to connect with like-minded individuals and professionals.
