Meet Early Flea!

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Early Flea! a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Early, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?

Early Flea! just keeps it real. We keep our shades on so we don’t even notice the haters. Absolutely blocked. One time we played, what we thought was a kick butt rock show, but the crowd was not on our side. They turned against us, yelling and even throwing a few tomatoes at us. Despite the chaos, we were unfazed. We looked at each other and smiled, then we threw the tomatoes right back at them. It was crazy. But looking back on the night, it’s now just a great memory. We are good at not taking ourselves too seriously.

Early Flea! is a duo rock and roll band from Long Beach, CA. This band is composed of the visionary minds Bryce and Roobie, and together we are on track to be at the top of the music charts. With fans across the globe from Romania to Japan we plan on a world tour in the next year. Dates are yet to be determined.

Our Debut album “Early Flea” will be released on February 7th, 2025 on all streaming platforms. Our two first singles are currently available to stream. We also have cassette tapes available for purchase through our good friend “Dollar Tapes” website https://dollartapes.blogspot.com/

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Agility. Knowledge. Sneak.

“fall seven times, stand up eight” is what we live by.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When we are overwhelmed we cry on each others shoulders. A lot. Often we hide in our rooms and don’t come out for days. Honestly its kinda depressing. The outside world is scary but we try not to let this define us. Don’t be like us and live your dreams.
