Meet Earth Mama

We recently connected with Earth Mama and have shared our conversation below.

Earth, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Peace finding my purpose in this life wasn’t hard because what I do feels like home! Whatever you do in life has to feel like home to you otherwise why are you there and what are you doing it for. So much of society builds up around just sustaining life, but what’s life without purpose or happiness. You can spend as much time and effort as you need to find that because there is no expiration date nor time line on how nor when you will, but at least you won’t be out here doing things that serve no purpose.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Peace I am Earth owner of Earth mama naturals I am a holistic full spectrum doula. I cultivate spiritual awareness and practices through birth. I also teach birth work so that future doulas can provide care in their scope.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
It’s very important to always have a choice and govern over our bodies! It’s our birth right! I’ve learned that my gift are beyond my crown they’re in my hands and the way I care for women through their most sacred journey. I’ve been in numerous births I’ve cared for alot of women over the years and have taught over 700+ women in birth work training. Stay true to who you are integrity is a big part of why I am respected and well known for my efforts in the community

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
I face challenges in the birthing community because I advocate for black women voices to be heard! And also in society for cultivating studies supplying black women with what they need! main issues facing women of color and black women particularly We are not heard, and rarely seen! America particularly has a very hostile relationship with black women when it comes to our bodies and they way we birth! At no point should we still be dying at alarming rates because no one takes our pain yet along our bodies seriously! We deserve spaces that feel safe!
