Ebony , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive by God’s grace. Being a social media influencer you have to be creative in all aspects. My platform is basically for kids and families and how we all relate to certain lifestyle experiences. So by focusing on Jesus I’m able to keep my creativity alive.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hello I’m Ebony Latashe, I am the founder of EbonyTvShow a popular show on YouTube. I play five different characters Ebby a little girl, Ebony a teenager girl, a mom, a grandma name E and grandpa named Earl. My show originally came from TikTok where I created comedy skit and soon transferred them to YouTube. I’m excited to have reached over 5 million followers from multiple social media platforms. TikTok, YouTube, facebook and instagram. My content is family oriented where kids and parents can relate to. The credit of all my success comes from my savior Jesus Christ. Being a social media influencer was not something i thought i would be, but in all i will not complain. My skits are written, directed, filmed, acted, and edited by me. So I do it all. I recently became an author and I have two books out on Amazon. There are both children books and I’m excited about it. My favorite quote: I can do all things, but without Christ in it I won’t get far!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The most quality of being a social media influencer is to keep going but have fun at the same time. When you really believe in yourself then that’s when the thought, ideas or words of others will not tear you down. Also whatever goals you want to reach while being a content creator, make sure it’s something you don’t mind doing for free.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
What book has played a major role in my development is The Bible! It’s a book that I go to when I’m going through life challenging decisions or when I’m happy too. There is a lot of stressful up and downs and nothing in this world can help you but the Bible. The most impact nuggets is John 3:16 for God so love us that he GOD gave his only son. So we can live eternal lives. It doesn’t get any better then that!
