Meet Ebony Neal

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ebony Neal. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ebony , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from my childhood. There were many battles that were fought alone if I’m being completely honest. I pretty much raised myself and learned a lot from it. There were adults and caregivers in my life but they didn’t have the resources or tools to guide me. Currently in my life my kids and siblings make me resilient. Being the oldest there was no other choice but to be strong and keep pushing forward.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My passion is giving back my community. This year the goal has been to work with more non profits. I also got the chance to work with Taco Bell Cantina in Downtown La for their grand opening. I love the art created behind it and incorporating the brand’s name into the backdrop. I also got to work with a local artist by the name of Jesse (Treylon) Simmons. He put together an art exhibit honoring the late Nipsey Hussle. That project was dear to be because I love rap and anyone from Los Angeles impacting the community in a positive way. I would love to work with more artist this year as well. I’m also working on TikTok to teach people Spanish. I had a very special person in my life teach me the language and the goal is to pay it forward.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

It’s important to be resilient, persistent, and positive. In any business you’re taking a chance. It may take off immediately or it may take off gradually. It’s important to come up with goals and a plan to achieve those goals. It’s even more important to do your own research. Surround yourself around souls who are genuine and want to see you win.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I would love to collaborate with corporations, small businesses, non profits, and schools. I would also love to work with folks who have a space they want to transform. Whether it’s for an open house, grand opening, or a special event. If you’re interested you can connect with me via Instagram at eeexperienceballoons or via email eeexperienceevents@gmail.com
