We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eddie Palmer II. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eddie below.
Hi Eddie, you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
God, the greatest amongst us are servants to others. So I believe in helping my fellow human whenever possible. The measure of a man is how he treats those whom can do nothing for him. So every room I enter I strive to leave the people in it better than when I and they arrived. Impact on others cannot be measured but can exponentially change lives. To be a blessing in others lives sometimes its just speaking positivity/competency into them in an area they do not see in themselves, sometimes its monetary help. But taking a moment or moments to see if the skillset, toolset, and mindset you have can help someone get moving into a direction they need to head even if they are a complete stranger not under your tutelage because your helping mankind regardless the time given in its self may show the person they’re own worth because others are willing to pour into them. If you read/study the bible thats a point that jumps out over and over again and I believe thats the door way towards greatness generosity of your most precious resource time on this earth to help someone better themselves which in turns betters our society, our country, and ultimately the world. Deposit more than you withdrawal and you will be left with the world at your disposal. When you’re in a position to help someone, be glad and do it. Because thats God answering someone’s prayers through you.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a Consultant my purpose for starting this business was innovation and optimization in the lives of others it is key part of growth towards maximizing individuals potential in life and their pursuits of happiness. Helping clients find the best ways to accomplish that. I wanted to create better people, the greatest amongst us are servants to others. Whether mentally, physically, financially, or all the above helping people pursue the avenue they see is best for them to thrive is a deep satisfaction for me. Being apart of a renovation and or restoration of another living soul is the epitome of appeasement. Everyone is different so the approach must be different as well from personal financial success/literacy, working on internal hormone issues, changing health standards and education, to life philosophy one size does not fit all so the variety in psychology approaches along with having the collegiate educational background I have as well as the God given sagacity has best suited me for this profession and to create everlasting changes in individuals to see the expansion and implementation of wisdom and knowledge into a clients life that will alter the trajectory of themselves and their families for generations to come is a special tasks and one I never take lightly. To whom much is given much is required as the old saying goes and I was given this gift to bestow, show, craft and create greatness into others. Viewing the S.E.E. ( significant emotional experience ) moment that brings people to me, turn into the fabrication and installation of a new self. It never gets old, its like losing weight you do not notice the first couple of pounds but your changed once you accumulate larger amounts you look back in awe and see your former shell or prison and wonder how you lived that way for so long. That 20/20 vision of the world clients now have is something that makes me get up earlier to go the extra mile.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
3 most important qualities I would say are having sagacity, discipline and ability to be a self educator. Sagacity means having keen judgment, foresight, and the ability to make good, wise decisions. It is a quality of profound wisdom and insight, often associated with a perceptive and astute mind that can effectively navigate challenges and understand complex situations. Now I believe that quality is God given but the ability to maximize it comes from other skill areas ability to learn/ be self taught and discipline to better you’re abilities/talents. Daily deposits I have stern rule to improve myself daily thats discipline its not convenient or always something I want to do but its a nonnegotiable requirement in my life as long as Im alive I will improve the man I am that day so If I’m granted tomorrow, I’ll be better than I was yesterday so Its 4am workouts and reading mountains of books when the world is discussing tv shows and sports. I stay disciplined to the betterment of self because thats how greatness and success happen in life. Indulging is a temporary enjoyment discipline brings long term fulfillment its like when I speak at university/college courses I always mention driving a old owned car is better than leasing new expensive car to put money into stock market or other investments for long term freedom in life or that dream house what do you really whats more important out of your life quick fix of pleasure or big goals?! Can you discipline yourself to stay on the path when it’s hard to see the next step(s) or take the short cut that is clear and down hill. Lastly being a self educator something I enrolled in quickly from studying the lives of Ben Franklin ( America’s 1st millionaire) and Charlie Munger billionaire ( Vice chairman with Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway) as Mr. Munger said if you learn how to learn you can teach yourself everything and become unstoppable. He was right having a certain level of humility of not knowing and allowing yourself to be a novice or ignorant to facts and skills of an arena and using that as fuel to sit and learn terms, applications and insights of the curriculum to become not just proficient but expert in that area. Everything is linked to everything else in life you begin to see that as you increase you knowledge so as you accumulate wisdom it becomes easier to add to your knowledge vault because you start to see some redundancies and overlaps which make the knowledge easier to acquire and store long term for life and or work applications.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill the godfather of self help and betterment of entrepreneurs and high achievers. It is a book I reread every couple of years to refresh and start back from the beginning and basics again to remember why and how I started and regain what I may have forgotten. Really any book by Napoleon Hill is a reread every few years( two years maximum), go back and read his works retake notes study it all again like the first time “How to mind your own mind” is another classic of his a interview he did with Andrew Carnegie. Napoleon Hill is a key factor into what I do and how I do things not only in business but life he was God fearing man and used his life to put not only himself in a better position but others as well. And he documented it all for generations behind him to receive the knowledge. But anyone who wants to become great The Law of Success is a key cog in that machine to run correctly. An honorable mention would be “The Laws of Human Nature” by Robert Greene a key to understanding human beings as a whole, as well as individuals better, making it easier for you to have constant and daily interactions with people not taking on their baggage or traumas and personal issues/biases being able to read them and all behaviors verbal and non verbal for the best desired outcomes in any situation.
