Hi Edward, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I have previously worked in industry, sales, and management, gaining experience in each of these stages. Based on this experience, I have developed my own vision of business, client relations, and company management. Until now, I have worked for others, and it has long been my desire to start something of my own. I have also traveled extensively for my previous job, which I really enjoyed, and now I’m trying to combine these two aspects. I want to explore life in another country while developing my own business from scratch. I’ve chosen a less conventional, and perhaps more difficult, path because starting a business in an unfamiliar country is more challenging than doing so in one’s home country and society.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Sale, installation, replacing and maintenance of attic ladders.
There are so many different type of attic ladders in use that need to be replaced, because thery are not properly installed, are old, unmaintained, the ladders do not have sufficient weight capacity, not safe to use.
Each year there are over a hundred thousand emergency room-treated injuries that are caused by falls from ladders, including attic ladders.
Since the attic space is generally not used on a daily basis, are used only a few times a year, users do not pay attention to potential problems in time.
Our goal is to raise peoples awareness and draw attention to a possible problem and offer a complete solution to the situation, in the form of high-quality and safe products and correct and safe installation.
Over decades not properly installed attic ladders are an accident waiting to happen!
And to add even more security…. Attics are a common place to storage seasonal items. Most attics of an older house do not have a regular floor like the rest of the house and stepping on the beams is not safe because of the great risk of falling through the ceiling. We offer the installation of a plywood floor with a strong load-bearing capacity around the attic hatch or to the extent of the entire attic floor if requested.

To reach more people with secure attic ladder solutions also our target is to offer the same high-quality attic ladders for areas construction- and repair companies.
Direct them to pay attention to the attic hatch and its installation when doing other repair works at the client’s place and, if necessary, inform the client of the dangers they see.
Provide them with the right guidance and training in product selection and also installation.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

First and foremost, one must have the courage and initiative to take that first step in executing their plan. It’s about starting and progressing step by step. There will undoubtedly be many challenges and seemingly insurmountable situations at the outset, but being able to find solutions while in the midst of these obstacles is one of the most valuable traits to possess. Overcoming fear and continuing to move forward is crucial.

One must stay focused on a specific direction, examining it in detail, and using that knowledge to help resolve other issues or concerns. Finding solutions for these challenges and offering comprehensive service is key.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

Since my company is still in its early stages, we constantly face obstacles and challenges. Currently, my main focus is to convey to clients that, while replacing an attic hatch may seem insignificant at first glance, it is a step that should not be taken lightly, and one should not focus solely on the cheapest price. When considering important factors like security, energy efficiency, and service quality, our company aims to provide just that.

Although these topics are widely discussed in society, the replacement of attic hatches is often not seen as a priority, and it has traditionally been considered a simple solution. My goal is to offer people the best solution in this area and to bring them all the benefits we intend to provide.
