Meet Eileen Wenger

We were lucky to catch up with Eileen Wenger recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Eileen , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

My best friend and I wanted to do our own boudoir pictures and we decided to invite other ladies to join us. We booked an Airbnb and had decorations, snacks, drinks and everything set up. Each girl got to enjoy the refreshments while getting their hair and makeup done, and then they came upstairs for pictures. They walked in the room nervous and unsure but by the time they left they were completely different women. Confident, energized, and excited and THAT’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do. I had the power to show women how truly beautiful they were by one photoshoot, it’s magic and I love it.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Eileen C. Wenger and I am a luxury boudoir photographer in Lancaster, Pa. I have been in business since 2019 and I truly love what I do. Empowering women to love themselves fiercely just as they are lights my soul on fire! I use natural light to capture tasteful images showcasing women’s natural beauty. I am so excited to launch something new in 2025. I will be offering an all-inclusive luxury boudoir retreat! It will be an exclusive event at an elite Airbnb here in Pennsylvania. There will be elaborate dinners, workshops, special gifts and of course, boudoir sessions. I have never offered this before and I am so looking forward to this new step!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I started photography by taking classes in high school and I’ve been intentional about finding different courses throughout the years to improve my skills. I pay close attention to the small details and highlight the fine features that most people would miss. There are so many characteristics that women have that make them unique and my goal is to put a spotlight on all of them. I think what makes this journey so impactful is the opportunity to work with a variety of women on the same goal. Self-confidence, self-love, and acceptance for the amazing women they truly are.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Every. Single. Woman.

I am a HUGE advocate for women to love themselves just the way they are and that means no matter what size, height, color, scars, beauty marks, or differences they may have. I actually love this question because in so many other businesses the “ideal client” is a small niche and I have the opportunity to serve ALL women.
