Meet Eldad Alfi

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Eldad Alfi a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Eldad, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I would have to go with the first thought that came to mind when I heard this question, which would be from my father. I grew up with an entrepreneur father who had his own business and I witnessed the commitment and dedication that he put into it day after day. He taught me the principles of business and the importance of sticking with something you believe even if others don’t and even when the economy is rough. Because those who show resilience and make it through those times thrive in the long run. I learned by watching him the importance of a solid work ethic not only for the success of the company but also in order to set an acceptable for the rest of the team.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

We created the Zula Den in 2022 as a community healing center for the people. This came out of my own personal need for these type of healing services while coming out of the covid isolation funk and realizing there is a need for an accessibility to these services. I knew in my heart that there was a need for a safe and cozy space for people to commune in person in a world consumed by online interactions. My wife and I had always also dreamt of someday opening our own venue for live music and special gatherings so this was our chance! It was such a rewarding and soul fulfilling project to be a part of full of inspiration to do even more and the undeniable feeling that this is what I should be doing with my life. As we continue to grow we look forward to serving more people and inspiring them to follow their true passions and share their gifts with the world.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I would say first and foremost the most important quality in this line of work is compassion. The conscious community is a group of individuals that wear their hearts on their sleeves and don’t mind showing vulnerability when it feels safe. This is an important quality to show and express authenticity which is very important when holding space for healing to occur. My advice to others on their career journey is to pause and ask yourself is this line of work advancing me towards my life’s purpose or not. Is it aligned with your true passion or not. Surround yourself with people and places that help spark that passion and inspire you to awaken and express your creativity.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes absolutely. The Zula Den is exactly that a space created to nurture and inspire collaborations. Providing a zen urban oasis to bring people together for many different healing modalities such as sound healing, reiki, yoga, woman’s circles, men’s work, breathwork, ceremonies and so much more. In order to offer such a wide variety we rely on the wellness facilitators that bring these beautiful experiences to our space. So we are always willing and ready to connect with anyone who has an offering to present and offer to our growing community. To make is very accessable and without a financial risk for the facilitator instead of just renting our space out at flat rates we offer a revenue share option with a 40/60 split where the venue keeps 40% and the remaining 60% goes to the facilitator.
