Meet Elena Mosaner

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Elena Mosaner. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Elena below.

Elena, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I arrived in the United States as an exchange student, spending a year in high school. Coming from a small town in Russia, adapting to a new environment was a bold leap. During that time, I learned English, and upon returning to Russia, I pursued a degree in Business in college while teaching English as a young tutor. My nature is that of an explorer; I relish new experiences and view life here as a grand, enjoyable game. I enjoy taking chances and exploring the many “rooms” in this video game of life.

I later came to New York City with a few Russian friends, stepping into a city that feels like the capital of the world and starting life from scratch. I faced numerous challenges along the way, but once again I was exploring and collecting life lessons along the way. My quest for growth led me to acting classes, hypnosis certification courses, and later, enrollment at The New School University to study filmmaking. Alongside my studies, I practiced hypnosis, focusing on confidence, self-esteem, and habit formation with clients. This became my livelihood for many years, working across various hypnosis centers before opening my own office. I was helping New Yorkers become better version of themselves with the power of hypnosis.

Confidence, to me, is like software in your head, comprising gratitude, openness to explore, willingness to connect, and viewing people as evolving individuals on their own paths, without fear of judgment. It’s crucial in social settings, any type of communication, public speaking, or performing. Confidence also means being fully present and in the moment, undistracted by the negative thinking of the “monkey mind” that can often make you feel low, usually based on past experiences. It’s joyful to learn and remember your history, to heal parts of it, revisit and extract lessons but never to dwell on your mistakes or negative events. And this is part of confidence, where you see past as your fuel, no matter how and what it was.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I run my own hypnotherapy and coaching practice with my main office in New York City. However, these days I primarily work online, serving clients from all around the world.

My approach is unique; I blend storytelling skills, ICF-style coaching methods, hypnosis, and Internal Family Systems with the use of wooden figures as visual representations of your current life’s theater.

I’m passionate about working one-on-one, but I also enjoy sharing my skills and reaching more people. That’s why I created an app called HypnoCloud, a comprehensive platform for all your hypnotherapy needs. Within HypnoCloud, you can access my hypnotherapy audio sessions and those created by my colleagues. We also teach self-hypnosis techniques and offer live workshops.

This app allows me and my colleagues to connect with users who are enthusiastic about hypnosis and eager to learn how to program themselves. It’s easy, quick, and makes it affordable for more people to experience the benefits of hypnotherapy.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For me personally, my love for languages has played a big part in my journey. I speak Russian, English, conversational French, and am now learning Portuguese. Learning languages is not easy; it requires effort. It is incredibly beneficial for your brain at any age, and I recommend everyone learn at least one additional language and travel to the country of its origin to live for some time. I lived in Italy, where I managed to learn some Italian. I’ve lived in Russia, the USA, and am now spending time in Brazil. While working with clients on a weekly basis, running my startup company, writing a book, and raising two kids, I am learning Portuguese daily and have a tutor as well. It’s invigorating to see progress and how amazingly adaptable your brain is to learning a new language when you put effort into it.

My second quality is being able to understand the cognitive processes behind a problem. It is a complex process that happens really fast these days, due to my experience and probably many years of meditation and a dozen ayahuasca ceremonies. When I work with people, I connect with them, ask a few questions, and then things begin to unfold for me visually as I gain access to their matrix field with all the necessary content. I then ask proper questions out loud or inside myself and listen to the answers. I only do this when there is an agreement between me and the person to do that, which is in a session setting. I never do this randomly in everyday life with the people I meet. First of all, it takes energy and deep focus; second, it’s work. Work and everything not work are two separate things.

The third important area of knowledge is understanding how hypnosis works and how the human mind is programmed. It may sound radical, but hypnosis, as a method of mind programming, is everywhere and at all times. We land here on Earth and are programmed from day one with ideas, knowledge, cultural and social memes. How do we get programmed? There are hundreds of ways, from authoritarianism, cognitive dissonance, anchoring, embedded commands, confusion, via rapport, trance states, or ecstasy, and so much more. I will soon have a book on it. My goal is to teach people how to be vigilant in the world of left-to-right programming.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am looking for clients who are willing to talk about their story and do a session with me, it will be recorded. We want to shoot it in NYC, could be in Brazil or online. This is for my online series showing people how hypnosis sessions work in real life. So if you, or you know anyone who is interested – reach out to me.
