Belief in a positive future: An optimistic person generally expects things to turn out well, even when facing difficulties.

My optimism stems from my faith and my focus on the things I truly believe in. Regardless of how many times I’ve faced rejection or heard the word “no,” I always choose to maintain a positive outlook. Remember that tough times will eventually pass, and it’s crucial to concentrate on creating a plan for the future. It starts with your mindset and I make sure my mindset is refreshed before anything.

I am a person, If I see the glass as half-full when others see it as half-empty; if you look on the bright side of things, you’re optimistic.

To be a sanctuary where diverse voices are welcomed, where every client leaves feeling beautiful inside and out, and where the art of hair becomes a transformative experience.

What began as a favor to a trusted friend became a life-changing discovery. When asked to style her hair, I hesitated—uncertain if this was something I could do. But one attempt changed everything. My friend loved the results, and soon she was calling regularly. With each style, I realized this wasn’t just hairdressing; it was meditation for my hands and nourishment for my soul.

Word spread through the neighborhood. People began asking for my services, inquiring about pricing. But in those early moments, I understood something profound: this wasn’t about money. It was about something far more meaningful—helping people discover their confidence through the transformative power of hair.

For years, I balanced this passion with full-time and part-time employment, doing hair on the side and selling hair care products well known for our Lemongrass/ Lavender hair care oils while maintaining my career. But eventually, I faced an undeniable truth: to honor this gift and truly serve my community, I had to choose. That decision required faith, trust, and courage. I stepped out on faith and committed fully to what I love.

Today, my salon stands as a celebration of all cultures and all people. It’s a space where women, men, and children feel welcomed, safe, and empowered. Here, we don’t just create beautiful styles—we cultivate confidence, enhance natural beauty, and build self-esteem through genuine care and positive energy.

E’s Natural Locs plan on expanding to Atlanta Georgia, and launching new businesses ideas coming soon.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

I want to start by thanking my fiancé for taking the time to listen—it means more to me than you can imagine. Your knack for bringing new business ideas to light, especially when I struggle to see them, has been invaluable. You have always been my backbone during overwhelming moments in my business journey. Thank you for your unwavering support and patience; your belief in my abilities gives me a significant edge.

I also want to honor my dad. May his spirit guide me as I navigate life each day. His words and support will always accompany me as I grow. To my mom, thank you for your constant encouragement and wise advice. Your faith in me, regardless of my decisions, has been a tremendous source of strength.
