Meet Elizabeth Carter

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Elizabeth Carter a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Elizabeth , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose last year around February 2024. I had just rededicated my life to Christ through baptism and afterwards my church wanted to interview me in regards to me being an entrepreneur and how Gods people should live independent from world financial systems (9-5) work etc.

Immediately afterwards the woman who interviewed me began to get calls from people asking if I could help them start a business too! It was so honoring! This one specific woman that I had the pleasure of speaking to needed help finding her purpose and how she could start her own business as well. She was so impressed and over joyed by the conversation that she told me “I’m adopting you as my coach”! I was so honored and blown away but at the same time knew that it wasn’t something I should just “do for free”! Thats the misconception most people have about Christians and work. Instead I told her “I’ll let you know my rate when you’re ready to get started!” And that when the spirit of confirmation came over me and I just knew coaching was my purpose. God also has confirmed for me in his word that coaching would be my successful stream of income! Thus my Christian business coaching career was born!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My name is Elizabeth! I’m a Christian business coach and I help Christian WOC (Women of Color) entrepreneurs create high quality winning digital products that convert their warm leads on repeat!

My mission is to not only build up the Kingdom of God, but to also restore financial power back in the hands of women entrepreneurs that are often over looked and have the ability to change the world.

So many people don’t realize how their potential clients buy and often don’t realize that someone will often buy something from you for a lower or median ticket item that can give them quick results that you can later use to upsell into a larger program or higher ticket item! I want to really educate women on how they can do this seamlessly without being tech savvy or a marketing genius.

I actually have some exciting news. I’m launching my new coaching program in March called the 6-Figure Abundance Accelerator with an implementation support group to show women how to create, package and sell their offers and digital products to attract “ready to buy” clients all within 90 days!

I also have my YouTube channel and podcast called the “She Finds Wealth Network/ She Finds Wealth Podcast” that will be also launching in March and I’m so excited!

Last but not least I have a growing FB community for women coaches and entrepreneurs that are looking to grow their faith, finances and friendships with over 3.6k members and counting! It’s called the “6-Figure Christian Female Coaches & Entrepreneurs: She Finds Wealth! Come join us!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back the 3 qualities and skills that I learned from this journey so far would have to be:

1.) Resilience- Learning how to keep pushing when you aren’t seeing immediate results and sometimes even failure

2.) Having Strong personal boundaries -Knowing when to say no when something doesn’t feel right

3.) Strong prayer life – Being able to pray and draw near unto God and trusting him in the process was a big one for me

For someone who is just starting out, give yourself grace! You’re not going to know everything and it will take some time to learn but it’s all worth it. Invest in your education if you don’t know something. Whether that be hiring a coach, paying for a course or ebook that has the information you need, then you definitely should do it! All the best coaches have invested in themselves to get to where they are. You don’t get a trophy for being self taught. Lastly, lean into strategies the feel right to you. Don’t copy some less just because they “seem” to be getting thousands or even millions of dollars in the same field that you are pursuing. Often times, people won’t tell the truth about how long it actually took them before they popped!

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

Definitely the Bible. Between that and the “Spirit of Prophecy” from Ellen G White who I believe was a true prophet of God, are my go tos! It’s actually quite Interesting how spot on and relatable the Bible is seeing that it was written many years ago but God never changes.

I think the biggest take away is that when God gives you a promise he will fulfill it, but it takes faith to see those promises come to pass. Just like Abraham & Sarah, Issac, Jacob & Joseph, our faith is built firmly from the things that were spoken that haven’t manifested as yet. “And without faith it is impossible to please him!” -Hebrews 11:6
