Meet Elizabeth Fraley

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Elizabeth Fraley . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Elizabeth below.

Elizabeth , thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?
Self discipline is all about routines and finding a routine that makes sense and is sustainable over time. From an early age, I have always been into competitive sports and I feel those early experiences help me today as well.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Elizabeth Fraley, the CEO of Kinder Ready. Kinder Ready is a program designed for learners to extend and enrich their academic skills, find their interests, and develop a love for learning. The lessons are designed to focus on literacy, early math, social skills, along with other pertinent areas of development. Lessons are designed through an emergent curriculum with themes and interest in mind for the leaner.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Perseverance is really important. When you have perseverance you can overcome any obstacle and rise ahead.

2. Consistency-finding a routine and a regular schedule will help you meet your goals and stay on track.

3. Balance- Like everything in life, you need to have a balance focusing on physical health, mental health, family, friends, self care, and business/career.

In the early stages you will have less time for yourself. When you’ve become more established in your field you can open your schedule up to more diverse options.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Modern Vision, Ancient Roots, by Srikumar S. Rao, is one of my all-time favorite books on wisdom. I recommend this book because it helps give you ways to drive towards incomparable success. This book transforms the way you think, focusing on positive goals and outlooks. The book draws from ancient master teachings and sacred writings, that Dr. Rao’s experienced as a life coach.
