Meet Elizabeth Hahn

We were lucky to catch up with Elizabeth Hahn recently and have shared our conversation below.

Elizabeth, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I grew up outside Hollywood near Malibu and Calabasas and was always passionate about the entertainment and music industry. I used to throw parties with local bands who played on the Sunset Strip, providing kegs of beers, beer bong girls, and dancers. Back then, this was the winning combo when it came to parties: great music, beer, and beautiful women.

My passion for entertainment brought me to where I am today—in the party planning industry, continuing that spirit of epic fun. It naturally became my purpose.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am Elizabeth Hahn, a special events planner in the greater San Diego area. I’m the founder and the owner of the San Diego Bachelor Party.

I started my first entertainment agency back in 1991 to be a part of the San Diego Underground Music Scene, supplying go-go dancers, promotion girls, and models to the EDM DJ Scene in San Diego.

I founded the San Diego Bachelor Party to supply carefully selected and trained party entertainers for San Diego bachelor parties.

One of my greatest joys is that I could employ all my friends as managers, entertainers, bouncers, graphic designers, web designers, promotion girls, models, and more. I am most excited that as my company, San Diego Bachelor Party, grows, so do the opportunities to employ more people and be of great value to our clients.

Currently, my team consists of party planners, managers, atmosphere models, dancers, entertainers, party bus drivers, bouncers, web designers, yacht captains, VIP hosts, photographers, and more.

I love planning destination bachelor parties for groups that have never been to San Diego. I went to college at UC San Diego. The city is amazing. I love everything about it – the mild weather, the eclectic entertainment scene, the vibrant nightlife, and the San Diegans’ laid-back vibe.

I want to make all that accessible to my clients, creating bach party packages tailored to their groups’ styles and personalities. I have planned thousands of parties in San Diego, so I know what’s hot and what’s not for a San Diego bachelor party.

I know how to turn a weekend getaway into an epic celebration to make the experience as fun and easy for my clients as it can be.

We can help clients plan epic bachelor parties with fun activities, brewery tours, and yacht parties, but our most popular party packages right now are:

Golf Caddy Girls – for bachelor or guys groups who want to go on a golf trip in San Diego. They can book a couple of Golf Girls who will drive their cart, help the guys choose the irons, and hang out on the green making the experience more fun.

Fun Poker Dealers – an ideal party package for a bachelor poker night with the guys. Our eye-candy poker dealers will host the Texas Holdem games and ensure everyone has a great time.

Sexy Bikini Bartenders – this one is popular for bachelor pool and yacht parties in San Diego. Friendly, attractive women in bikinis manage the bar and keep the conversation going at the party. Doesn’t that sound fun?

And last but not least, we have the Pool Party Girls package. Another popular package for pool parties, as the name suggests. Our Pool Party Girls love to have fun, play beer pong, and make the future groom feel special.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Courage, perseverance, and adaptability are the qualities that helped me the most in my business journey.

When I first started my business in 1991, I had only a pager, a handwritten list of phone numbers, and the concept. It took effort and courage to grow my business to where it is today, and the road wasn’t always smooth. I also had to adapt and learn a lot. Back then, people had computers but were not yet on the Internet, so offline marketing was challenging and tedious.

I realized that I would have to be bold to make it a success. I’ve created strategic alliances with local venues, bars, and clubs, providing entertainment, sponsoring events, and passing out cards.

As technology advanced, we moved from pagers to cell phones, websites, and social media. I aimed to streamline my online services and make bachelor party planning easy and accessible to everyone.

I worked in various areas of the entertainment industry in Hollywood and San Diego, gaining experience and connections. My entertainment industry background helped me create some of the best bachelor party packages in the industry.

Every day is a day to learn something new and enjoy it fully. This is the key to success for me.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
The ideal client is someone who wants to go all out for their friend tying the knot, who realizes a bachelor party is a once-in-a-lifetime event, an unrepeatable experience, and wants to live it to its fullest.

The San Diego area is one of the top bachelor party destinations with picturesque beach towns, great beaches, world-class surf spots, a wide range of restaurants, and the Gaslamp District’s vibrant nightlife. An ideal client wants to enjoy a bit of everything this amazing destination offers and approaches us with trust and enthusiasm. We’ve been in this industry for over 30 years and love to plan amazing Bach parties. An ideal client leaves the party planning to us while they lay back and enjoy their time with their buddies.
