Meet Elizabeth Meigs

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Elizabeth Meigs. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Elizabeth below.

Elizabeth , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I didn’t find my purpose in a moment of success—I found it in the middle of pain. After surviving a traumatic brain injury at 14, I spent years feeling lost, unseen, and unsure of who I was. But it was in those wilderness seasons, when everything felt stripped away, that God began to reveal the deeper calling on my life.

Through prayer, surrender, and a whole lot of tears, I began to see that my purpose wasn’t about perfection—it was about being willing to rise, again and again, and let God use my story to bring healing to others. Every setback became a setup for something greater. I learned that purpose isn’t something you chase—it’s something you uncover by walking with God, even when the path doesn’t make sense.

Today, I help others do the same—reconnect with their identity, rediscover their voice, and step into the miracle power that’s been inside them all along. That’s how I found my purpose. By letting God lead me through the pain, into the promise, His truth, my truth..

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

At Elizabeth Inspires, I help high-achieving women rise above stress, burnout, and the pain of their past so they can reclaim their power, rediscover their purpose, and live a life of peace, freedom, and fulfillment. As a Spiritual Transformational Coach, speaker, and author, my mission is to guide others through a healing journey that opens pathways to empowerment—what I call H.O.P.E.

What makes my work special is that it’s not just theory—it’s born from lived experience. After surviving a traumatic brain injury at age 14 and navigating decades of trauma, I developed the Roadmap to Resilience™ and Pathway to PEACE Method™—frameworks that blend neuroscience, faith, and practical strategies to help people reset emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Right now, I’m especially excited to be expanding my group coaching programs and hosting weekly live webinars to offer accessible transformation tools. I recently launched The Burnout Cure, an empowering $7 ebook designed to help readers identify the root causes of their overwhelm and begin healing with actionable steps. I’m also booking speaking engagements for churches, corporations, and conferences to share my story and equip audiences with tools that truly shift lives.

Whether through coaching, speaking, or digital resources, my heart is to help others rise, reframe their pain, and walk in the Miracle Power™ that’s already within them.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities have been most impactful in my journey: resilience, spiritual discernment, and the ability to reframe pain into purpose.

Resilience was born out of necessity. Surviving a traumatic brain injury at 14 and learning to rebuild my life from the ground up taught me that setbacks don’t define you—they refine you. For anyone early in their journey, resilience isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. Start small. Show up for yourself consistently, even on the hard days. That’s how inner strength grows.

Spiritual discernment became my compass. Listening for God’s voice and trusting divine timing—even when the path didn’t make sense—changed everything. My advice? Slow down and make space to hear. Whether through prayer, journaling, or stillness, clarity comes when we listen deeper than the noise.

Reframing pain into purpose is what birthed my coaching frameworks. I had to learn how to make meaning of my experiences instead of being defined by them. To those just starting, don’t run from the hard parts of your story—redeem them. What once broke you can now build others.

If you commit to growing in these three areas, I truly believe you’ll not only transform your own life—you’ll become a light for others on their path as well.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

Without question, God has been the most helpful in my journey. When I was alone, broken, and had no one else to turn to, it was God who showed up—guiding me, holding me, leading me, and ultimately rebuilding me from the inside out. Every skill I’ve developed, every ounce of resilience I’ve gained, and every moment of clarity I’ve received has come through His grace and divine plan.

There were times when the pain was so deep, I couldn’t see a way forward—but God already had a greater plan. He didn’t just heal me; He equipped me. He took what was meant to destroy me and used it as the foundation for my purpose. That’s why I do what I do today—not because I had it all figured out, but because He never left me, and He called me to help others experience the same freedom, peace, and power I found through Him.

For the past 13 years, it’s been my greatest honor to walk with others through their healing journeys—whether one-on-one, in group settings, or from the stage—empowering them to rise into the purpose God placed within them.
