Meet Elizabeth Patel

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elizabeth Patel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Elizabeth, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I’ve never really had a problem with self-confidence, but self-esteem? Now that’s a different
story. While the two are definitely connected, for me, self-esteem issues were all about seeing
myself through other people’s eyes. It wasn’t really about doubting my own abilities. I had to let
go of the expectation of viewing myself through someone else’s lens and focus on how *I* felt.
That was a game-changer.
What I do is deeply tied to individual self-esteem. When society tells you that you just have to
accept how you look or settle for the status quo, it can feel crippling. My mission is to help
people realize that there are better solutions out there for the skin they want. Modern medicine
doesn’t always consider everything that’s going on beneath the surface, but a holistic approach?
That’s where the magic happens. It supports your skin as the largest organ it is, and when you
stop seeing healthy skin as vanity, you realize it’s just about taking care of yourself.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I create badass skincare—holistic, eco-friendly, ethically produced, and incredibly effective. This
isn’t just about vanity; it’s about empowerment. And yeah, I’ve been making and mixing since I
was around 10 or 12, whipping up kitchen concoctions for masks and DIY spa experiences. It
was fun then, and it’s still fun now.
The most exciting part of my work is helping people feel better about their skin. Watching them
understand that they don’t have to accept the status quo—that they can look in the mirror and
feel like a million bucks—is why I do this. And it’s not just about their skin; it’s about doing it all
ethically. We don’t have to sacrifice the planet for beauty. I’m proud to offer products that are as
plastic-free as possible, easy to use, convenient, and designed to reduce waste.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

In the next 24 months, I’m diving into full-on escapism spa experiences—deeply rejuvenating for
both the spirit and the skin. This is where I’m heading, and I’m thrilled about it.

I think investing in areas where you're not strong is a tough sell when you're just starting out,
especially if you don’t have much capital. Plus, until you really understand what your business
stands for, it’s hard to seek help. Marketing is my weakest area, but learning how it works and
how to execute it has transformed how I run my business and how I show up in it. My best
advice? Find a coach to help you figure it all out. Not just a cheerleader, but someone who can
help you come up with ideas, do better research, analyze that research with you, and guide you
on how to move forward.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

If you’re dancing with the idea of being an entrepreneur, there are a few qualities you need to
develop. Patience is key—success doesn’t happen overnight. Perseverance is a must. When
you feel like you’re banging your head against a brick wall, you have to pick up the next book,
talk to the next person, and push through. Belief is crucial, too. You have to believe that what
you’re doing will help people, that it will create a brighter future for your family, the world, the
planet—everyone. If you don’t, it’s easy to let self-doubt creep in and start sabotaging your
progress. Most entrepreneurs deal with this on some level, but you have to beat it down and
keep moving forward. Keep learning, keep trying new things, and never stop.
