Meet Elizabeth Rori

We were lucky to catch up with Elizabeth Rori recently and have shared our conversation below.

Elizabeth, so great to have you on the platform and excited to have you share your wisdom with our community today. Communication skills often play a powerful role in our ability to be effective and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your communication skills.

I developed my ability to communicate effectively through reading, learning from elders, and observing the world around me. I’ve always been an observer, paying close attention to body language and the behaviors of those I admire. Over time, I also discovered the ability to look beyond appearances and connect directly with someone’s soul. That practice has allowed me to release judgment and see everyone as one. From that place, communication became second nature, it wasn’t just about speaking, it was about listening, understanding, and creating a safe space for people to be themselves.

One of my greatest strengths is that I am a very good listener. I don’t just listen to words, I listen to tone, pauses, emotions, and even the silence in between. People often tell me they feel safe opening up because they know I’m not listening to respond, I’m listening to truly understand. As an empowerment coach, that skill has been invaluable. It allows me to hear what someone isn’t saying out loud, to pick up on the deeper truth beneath their words, and to guide them with compassion and clarity.

For me, true communication is not about saying the right thing, but about building trust, holding space, and helping people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m an Empowerment Coach and Human Design Guide, helping people reconnect with their authentic selves and step fully into their personal power. My journey, traveling the country in my van with my two wolf dogs, taught me how to deeply observe, listen, and connect with others on a soul level, which is central to my coaching.

What excites me most is seeing people transform when they embrace their true selves. I guide clients through challenges like grief, self-doubt, and stuck energy while helping them understand their unique design and potential. My work blends practical empowerment strategies with spiritual insight, allowing people to live intentionally and authentically.

Right now, I’m expanding my reach through workshops and new programs that combine coaching with transformational experiences. At its core, my brand is about connection, authenticity, and empowerment, helping people feel seen, heard, and ready to live their highest potential.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have been most impactful in my journey: deep listening, self-awareness, and empathy.

Deep listening has allowed me to connect with people on a soul level, hear what isn’t being said, and guide others with clarity and compassion. My advice for anyone early in their journey is to practice listening without judgment or the need to respond, focus on truly understanding the person in front of you.

Self-awareness has been critical because knowing my own patterns, strengths, and triggers allows me to show up authentically for others. To develop this, spend time reflecting, journaling, and seeking feedback from trusted mentors or peers. Awareness is the foundation for growth.

Finally, empathy has allowed me to create safe spaces for people to be vulnerable and empowered. You can strengthen this skill by putting yourself in others’ shoes, asking questions, and observing without assumptions. Empathy grows through experience, curiosity, and an open heart.

For anyone starting out, I’d say focus on building these qualities intentionally. They aren’t just skills, they become the lens through which you see and connect with the world, and they form the backbone of any meaningful personal or professional journey.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza has played a profound role in my personal and professional development. The book reinforced the idea that we have the power to transform our reality through our thoughts, emotions, and energy. One of the most impactful lessons for me was the concept of breaking free from old patterns by rewiring the mind and creating new neural pathways, something I integrate into my empowerment coaching to help clients shift limiting beliefs and step into their full potential.

Another valuable insight was the emphasis on meditation and connecting with the present moment. Dr. Dispenza explains how aligning the mind and body allows us to tap into greater clarity, intuition, and personal power, practices I guide my clients through to cultivate self-awareness and intentional living.

Finally, the book reinforced the importance of combining science with spirituality: understanding the mechanics of change while also trusting in our innate ability to create miracles in our lives. It’s a principle I carry into my coaching, helping people blend practical tools with soul-level insight to manifest lasting transformation.
