Meet Elle Levy

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elle Levy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Elle, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

“Growing up, I became so used to being criticized—whether it was by family or toxic boyfriends—that dealing with online hate feels like nothing in comparison. That doesn’t mean it never gets to me, especially when I post rage-bait content and people respond with awful comments, but I’ve developed thick skin because life has been tough. I’ve faced real challenges in my personal life that shaped me, so now I see online criticism as just another obstacle to overcome. At the end of the day, I focus on my goals and remind myself that if I’ve made it through the hardest parts of life, I can handle this too.”

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

When people ask me about what I do, I tell them I wear a lot of hats. I’m the creator, host, and producer of Tacos&Shawarma, a podcast that dives into relationships, personal growth, and hot societal topics. I run the entire operation myself—everything from booking guests and editing episodes to marketing the show. It’s a lot of work, but I’ve built something I’m proud of, and seeing the podcast connect with so many people has made it all worth it. Recently, I’ve also started venturing into restaurant reviews, beginning with spots in NYC, where I grew up. Food has always been a big part of my life, and now I get to share that passion with my audience in a whole new way.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to expand my horizons—both personally and professionally. I plan to travel to Thailand soon to immerse myself in the culture and explore how food and traditions connect people globally. This will not only inspire my podcast content but also deepen my understanding of the world. My ultimate goal is to keep growing Tacos&Shawarma into a global brand, share my journey through my upcoming eBook, and inspire others to chase their dreams unapologetically. Life is all about evolving, and I’m just getting started.
When it comes to Tacos&Shawarma, my mission goes beyond just sharing my own perspective—I want to find the most interesting people with the most fascinating stories to tell. Whether it’s someone who’s overcome incredible odds, a trailblazer in their field, or someone with a unique cultural experience, I’m always on the hunt for voices that inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting impact. My goal is to create a podcast that stands out by offering stories and conversations that truly connect with people all over the world. It’s about bringing something fresh, authentic, and unforgettable to the table every time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three skills and qualities that were the most impactful in my life are resilience, storytelling, and adaptability. Resilience has been my foundation—I’ve faced rejection, criticism, and countless setbacks, but I’ve always found a way to keep moving forward. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do; being able to share ideas and connect with people through authentic and engaging narratives has been key to building Tacos&Shawarma. And adaptability has allowed me to pivot, learn new skills, and thrive in an ever-changing landscape. Life is unpredictable, and being open to growth is what keeps me ahead.

For anyone at the beginning of their journey, my biggest advice is to trust the process. It’s okay not to have it all figured out right away. Focus on what you can control: your work ethic, your willingness to learn, and your ability to keep going when things get tough. Don’t be afraid to start small or to fail—those moments are where the biggest lessons are learned. Stay curious, stay humble, and remember that your journey is your own. Success doesn’t come overnight, but with persistence and passion, it will come.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Absolutely, I’m always looking to collaborate and partner with others who align with my vision. I’d love to connect with bigger celebrities like Meek Mill or Justin Bieber because I know there are so many questions people have—especially with all the buzz surrounding topics like the whole Diddy situation. These are the conversations that keep people hooked, and I want to bring them the inside stories they’re craving.

On the partnership side, I’m excited to explore collaborations that make sense for Tacos&Shawarma. For example, teaming up with a brand like McCormick to create a signature taco seasoning or working with alcohol brands to sponsor the podcast or even collaborate on a drink would be incredible. My goal is to forge partnerships that are not only exciting but also resonate with my audience and elevate the brand.

Ultimately, my dream collaboration would be a deal with Barstool Sports and working with Dave Portnoy. I admire how they’ve built a cultural movement through raw, unfiltered content, and I feel like my podcast would thrive in that environment. Being part of something that dynamic while still doing what I love would be a game-changer.
