Let’s take a dive into the roots of my work ethic! While my mom certainly had a starring role in this story, it’s the colorful lessons from my past that have shaped my work style into what it is today.
Back in the day, my family had its fair share of financial hurdles, but my mom had this incredible knack for sprinkling magic into our lives. She made sure we had everything we needed, and then some, without us even realizing how tough things could get sometimes.
Now, let’s talk about my childhood obsession – instead of Barbies, I was all about that cash register! Yup, even as a little kid, I was on the road to becoming a mini-entrepreneur. My mom, being the awesome supporter she is, didn’t bat an eye at my quirky choice of toys. She encouraged me to dive headfirst into my interests, igniting my passion for business early on.
What’s truly remarkable about my mom, and the life lessons she gifted me, is her ability to turn lemons into lemonade. No matter how cloudy the day, she could make sunshine out of it. Her ingenious problem-solving, positive outlook, and never-give-up attitude showed me that hard work paired with a dash of creativity can conquer any challenge.
But my work ethic isn’t just about the daily grind. It’s about embracing responsibility, living with integrity, and giving my all, no matter what I’m tackling. These values, which I picked up along the way, are the secret sauce behind my zest for work.

Today, I want to celebrate the triumphant trio of hustle, determination, and grit – the driving forces that have propelled me to build a thriving multi-location salon. These three qualities have not only shaped my journey but have been my constant companions on the road to success.
Hustle: It’s more than just a buzzword; it’s the relentless drive to make things happen. When I embarked on this journey, I had a vision for a salon that would stand out, but I knew it wouldn’t be easy. Hustle meant putting in the hours, tirelessly working towards my goals, and seizing every opportunity that came my way. It meant late nights and early mornings, learning the ins and outs of the beauty industry, and always staying one step ahead of the curve. It was about taking that leap of faith and starting my first location, knowing that success would require hustle and more.
Determination: Determination is that unwavering commitment to your dreams. It’s the fuel that keeps you going when obstacles seem insurmountable. Building a multi-location salon required not just a plan but a rock-solid determination to see it through.
