Meet Emory Eagles

We were lucky to catch up with Emory Eagles recently and have shared our conversation below.

Emory, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I’ve picked up my strong work ethic from two special people: my mom and grandpa. My mom taught me all about independence when I was just a kid, showing me the ropes. Then there’s my grandpa, a former military man who doesn’t mess around regarding hard work. Watching him as a landscaper, rising early and diving into the day head first, taught me the importance of getting things done. Their impact has molded me into someone who values responsibility and determination, making it all feel like second nature.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Being a photographer and videographer is like a dream come true for me. I love the thrill of creating beautiful visual pieces that capture the essence of special moments and emotions. Art has always been my true passion, and photography lets me express my creativity in a whole new way. One of the coolest parts of my job is getting to meet new people and explore different locations to bring my artistic vision to life. Plus, I’m proud to be the director of digital media at Grind and Advance, where we’re all about sharing captivating content. Be sure to check us out for more projects.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

It’s so important to stay centered in the whirlwind of life. Knowing who you are, being resilient, and keeping an open mind are key qualities that made a difference in my journey. Life can throw so many challenges at us, but staying true to yourself feels like an anchor in the chaos. Resilience helps us bounce back from setbacks, just like dancing, the steps backward are a part of the dance. Having an open mind opens up new possibilities and growth opportunities we may not have seen otherwise. Embracing these qualities helps me stay focused and stay true to myself.

How would you describe your ideal client?

When it comes to my ideal clients, I have a diverse mix of picks that I’d be thrilled to work with. Picture this: producing media for the Dallas Mavericks, being Jalen Hurts’ photographer, collaborating with Beyonce on her next big project, and supporting Anthony Edwards in the Adidas or Chipotle campaign. Each one brings a unique vibe and energy to the table, and the thought of teaming up with them gets me truly excited to make some magic happen. Who wouldn’t want to work with these game-changers?
