Meet Empress Pre

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Empress Pre a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Empress, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose through a passion for sharing life’s journeys authentically, without fear, in a world dominated by social media pressures. In today’s society, there is often an expectation to present a perfect image, but I believe that if we embrace our true, imperfect selves, we can heal and grow. By doing so, we can alleviate the pressure on younger generations to strive for unrealistic ideals. My purpose is rooted in fostering a space where authenticity is celebrated and where individuals can be true to themselves without the fear of judgment.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At Letz TalkQ, we provide a platform for individuals to openly share their life experiences with the goal of inspiring change, both in themselves and in others. Our participants are not just seeking to be seen—they want to be truly heard. Through the powerful act of storytelling, they offer encouragement and guidance to those who may be struggling, helping others find their path in life.

What truly sets Letz TalkQ apart is our unwavering commitment to fostering genuine human connections. We don’t simply offer a space for stories—we actively engage with communities across Colorado, providing resources and support that help people navigate the challenges of everyday life. We go beyond conversation, working to cultivate a sense of belonging and demonstrating that every individual is valued, heard, and deserving of a fulfilling life.

Our approach empowers people to share their journeys, connect with others, and find healing through their stories, which in turn creates a ripple effect of positive change within the community. Whether it’s through our podcast, events, or outreach efforts, Letz TalkQ is dedicated to building a future where every voice matters, and every story has the power to transform lives.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey with Letz TalkQ, three qualities have been most impactful: empathy, resilience, and the ability to foster genuine connections.

First, empathy is at the core of everything we do. Creating a space where people feel safe to share their stories requires deep understanding and compassion. It’s not just about listening—it’s about truly hearing and valuing the experiences of others. For those early in their journey, I recommend practicing active listening and putting yourself in others’ shoes. Building empathy opens the door to authentic communication and deeper connections.

Second, resilience has been key. The journey of building Letz TalkQ hasn’t always been smooth, but staying committed to our mission, even in the face of challenges, has been crucial. My advice to others is to embrace setbacks as part of the process. It’s through these obstacles that you learn, grow, and find your strength.

Finally, genuine connection is what makes Letz TalkQ truly special. The courage of individuals who share their stories not for recognition but for the chance to make a difference is what inspires me daily. For those just starting, I encourage you to focus on building real, lasting relationships with those you serve. The impact you create will be far greater when you engage with your audience in a meaningful way.

At Letz TalkQ, we’re not just sharing stories; we’re rebuilding connections, strengthening communities, and reinforcing the belief that every voice matters. If you lead with empathy, resilience, and a commitment to genuine connection, you’ll be well on your way to creating something truly impactful.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

Securing funding is my biggest obstacle to growth in today’s digital landscape, where social media followers often drive monetization. As a podcaster fueled by passion and purpose, I have self-funded much of my work, which poses challenges in sustaining my creative projects. Nevertheless, I remain committed to my belief in the power of storytelling to heal and inspire.

Through perseverance, I’ve built strong partnerships with local radio stations, non-profits, government officials, and organizations dedicated to unity, love, and social change. These collaborations have significantly expanded our reach, increasing views, boosting attendance at community events, and raising awareness for mental and physical health initiatives.

To overcome the challenge of funding, I plan to use grant support to upgrade my podcasting equipment, thereby enhancing the quality and reach of my content. This approach has proven sustainable in the past and I expect it will continue to foster growth. I will also pursue various grants (including the Amber Grant and local sponsorships), organize fundraising events, offer Free Mental & Physical Health Screenings, and launch crowdfunding initiatives with local radio stations, and other podcasting platform collaborations. Throughout this process, I will remain dedicated to my vision, ensuring that each step contributes to the positive change I aim to create within my community.
