We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eno Acha. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eno below.
Hi Eno , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Resilience for me was forged through a lifetime of learning from setbacks and navigating challenging situations. Coming to the U.S. as an immigrant, my journey was shaped by my father’s career with ExxonMobil, which initially provided the path here, but when his assignment ended, our family faced new financial challenges. Supporting three college-aged children on a Naira-based income from Nigeria was daunting. I knew I had to step up for myself—working at call centers and balancing a full-time school schedule taught me resilience in ways most students don’t encounter. I paid for books and tuition bit by bit, often pushing through financial strain.
Seeing people around me settle for less fueled my determination. I was motivated by the vision of my future children, knowing even then that I needed to excel for them. I pushed myself, often reminding myself that I could rest “when I transition back to heaven”—until then, my mission was to work hard and bring my dreams to life. I learned not to dwell on setbacks or adopt a victim mentality; instead, I focused on moving forward and learning from every obstacle.
My faith plays a central role as well. I pray, trust in God, and have faith that I am guided. In every job, I sought opportunities beyond my role, attending meetings and taking on tasks above my pay grade to gain broader insights and skills. Over time, this commitment transformed me into a valuable resource, giving me a unique edge in my field. Resilience, for me, is about faith, hard work, and never letting setbacks define the path forward.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m Eno Acha, and my story is rooted in a passion for service and a commitment to making a difference in people’s lives. My husband and I co-founded several businesses that reflect our values and vision. Restore ABA & Speech Therapy, for example, is our faith-driven center where we provide ABA and speech therapy for children with autism and other behavioral challenges. What makes it special is our holistic approach—we’re not only focused on the clinical aspects but also on supporting each child’s mind, body, and spirit. We believe every child has unique gifts from God, and our mission is to help them reach their fullest potential.
In addition to Restore ABA, we founded BioLife Genetics Research, which collaborates with physicians to bring innovative treatments and therapies to clinics, helping to improve patient outcomes.
Our nonprofit, the Martins and Eno Acha Foundation, is another meaningful aspect of our journey. We support initiatives both in Africa and the U.S., such as Joyful Journeys Family Support (JJFS), which focuses on providing financial aid, respite care, parent support groups, and prayer teams for families with special needs children. This project holds a special place in our hearts as we work to make a real difference for families facing unique challenges.
What excites me most is that our businesses are growing, and we’re preparing for some exciting expansions. We’re launching new support initiatives under the foundation, and we’re continually evolving to serve our community better. Our work is not just about business but about leaving a legacy of compassion, resilience, and service that honors God and inspires others to pursue their own dreams.
Through faith and a shared vision, my husband and I aim to make a lasting impact, and we’re grateful for each opportunity to grow and serve. Thank you for allowing me to share our story, and I invite everyone to join us on this journey to bring hope, healing, and empowerment to those who need it most.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are fearlessness, commitment, and resilience.
1. Fearlessness: I’m not afraid to step into the unknown. I say “yes” to opportunities that feel aligned, trusting myself to figure out the details as I go. I know the God I serve. My name, Enosadeba, means “someone who God is with,” and I hold this as a constant reminder that God is with me. He delights in me, and with His presence, I cannot fail. I don’t need to see the whole journey or know the outcome because I trust that if God brings an opportunity my way, He will provide the strength, wisdom, and resources I need to complete it. For those just starting out, don’t wait for everything to be perfect. Embrace opportunities, take risks, and trust that you’ll find the answers along the way. Fearlessness opens doors to experiences you might have otherwise missed.
2. Commitment: I believe that every task I take on is an opportunity to prove my dedication and integrity. I approach each responsibility as a test, a way for God to see if I can be trusted with more. My advice is to give your all, no matter the job, and stay dedicated to completing it with excellence. When you show up fully committed, you’re building a foundation for greater responsibilities in the future.
3. Goal-Getter Resilience: I’m relentless in pursuing my goals. I don’t allow obstacles to discourage me, and I don’t dwell on the possibility of failure. Instead, I keep moving forward, focused on achieving what I set out to do. For those early in their journey, adopt a “keep going” mindset. Challenges will come, but don’t let them distract you. Resilience is about pushing through without letting doubt take root.
These qualities—fearlessness, commitment, and resilience—have been essential to my success. Embrace them, and they’ll empower you to pursue your dreams and overcome any challenge that comes your way.
