Meet Eric Lee

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eric Lee. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eric below.

Eric, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from a place NEED and not WANTS. I was born into an environment where i had to navigate through trials and tribulations and overcoming obstacles always keeping in mind that in any way shape form or fashion that there is always better and to also water your grass where its purposeful.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My background is based in the car community, anything from drag racing, road course racing, drifting. Cars have always been my main focus but overtime ive realized that there was more to life than the things I wanted. I cultivate my own style in photography depending upon the situation whether its an event shoot where i have to think on the fly a lot or personal customer vehicles and dealerships for advertising for there brand. The focus is in pulling a visual that the consumer may not see coming but cultivates a spark of creativity for themselves.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Theres a level of confidence (not to be conceded) that one must have to know that they’re capable of anything that they’re willing to put enough time and effort into to make it thrive.

Resilience is another key factor because lets be honest how quick would you be at every turn to choose not to do something because you “thought” it was hard. Expressing to self that you can make anything happen brings a sense of cognitive ignition that NO IS NOT AN OPTION.

ALWAYS have a team although my team arent within the same avenue as I. There’s a sense of clarity and action when you have like-minded individuals in your corner that are willing to help you through whatever you may encounter, whether that be life or business.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

A top 3 for a lot of individuals including myself would be discipline. Society has shown us a story of what must be done in their eyes. Yet not many take initiative to put time into the things they want out of life. I say this due to my upbringing, having to learn right from the wrong way and being exposed to it on a day to day basis. But its that 1%, not to become part of the wealthiest individuals in the world but the 1% everyday to strive to become a little better. Nothing will happen over night but it will come in due time. Fail, fail fast, learn from your mistakes and dont make the same mistake twice.
