Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Erica Johnson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Erica, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose through getting closer to God . For a long time I didn’t know what my purpose was. After trying to figure out my purpose on my own, I started to ask God to reveal what my purpose is and to lead me on the path towards it. After writing my first book “The Untold Truth “ I started to realize my purpose is to add to others and to help others using my testimony.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

In 2018 I published a book called “ The Untold Truth “ that focuses on how I overcame hardships such as depression, suicidal thoughts, neglect, domestic abuse, molestation, and abandonment with the grace of God . My goal is always to use my testimony to help someone else that is in a bad situation. 2020 at the beginning of covid I started a business called “Network like A Boss PHL “ which is a networking community to help small business owners network and grow their businesses . I started to host networking events to bring entrepreneurs together. Everything I do is attached to helping others elevate and evolve. Also in 2020 , I started a hair accessories boutique to help women feel beautiful even when it’s time for bed , Network Like A Boss PHL is having their annual networking ball coming soon.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The best advice I could give someone to develop or improve early in their journey is to remember to love and celebrate the Journey not just the destination. Celebrate the things between the start and the destination.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

Since the start of my businesses I have been doing everything alone . The only person I can give credit to for helping me overcome challenges is God . He is the only one who has pushed me and supported me when I had no idea where to start or how I would overcome challenges in my life and career.
