Erica, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I discovered my love for accounting when I took a class in high school. That’s when the light bulb came on and that’s when knew I wanted this to be my career. I’ve always had a fascination with numbers and have always done well in math, so accounting seemed like a perfect fit. I went to school for accounting and business and have worked in the industry for over 25 years.

Our firm provides bookkeeping…What makes us unique is…we are one of the fewer than 350 firms globally that’s a Certified Profit First Professional…We help guide businesses through their financial journey to make them more profitable…eradicating entrepreneurial poverty is one of our specialties.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As entrepreneur…investing in yourself doesn’t mean…all the money is spent on you….if you want to experience sustainable growth….Invest in a mentor…build a team (bookkeeper tax preparer & operations ) and have the ability to gain access to capital before you need it!

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Most money problems start when 2 things happen…when your income decreases and when your income increases…The book “Profit First” was a game changer for my firm and our clients that utilize this model. Focusing on profit helps you to discover new ways to scale and grow your business.
