We were lucky to catch up with Erina Wells recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Erina , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
Living in the corporate realm for so long, I started to feel like there had to be a better way—a place for real growth, something beyond the confines of a cubicle and a computer screen for 8+ hours a day. So in 2022, I took a leap and left that world to pursue a journey of fulfillment. I had this deep desire to build something that could help others find peace in their human experience.
Stepping into the entrepreneurial space, I sought out community, trying to find where I fit in. When I began working with the organization KOSM, helping folks in a homeless state, it became clear how many in my community were navigating uncertain and challenging times. I felt called to serve in a more powerful way.
I then met Meghan Rubinstein, the founder of Sakala in Denver, this was a turning point. She saw something in me—told me I deserved to be seen for the spirit and message I had. That encouragement pushed me to step out more, attending networking events, hosting events, being present at local weekend markets. But as soon as I walked into those spaces, I noticed how few people looked like me. Cue imposter syndrome.
I often felt out of place, unworthy, like I was too loud or too big in my thoughts and expressions. Fear, doubt, and disbelief crept in, making me question whether I had what it took to cultivate strength and peace for myself let alone my community. But the alternative—returning to the cubicle life—wasn’t an option. So I found ways to push through those obstacles.
I began listening to subliminal threshold affirmations daily, conditioning myself to awaken the winner within, release self-doubt, and uplift my confidence. I also practiced self-awareness, tuning in to my inner voice. Whenever those old, limiting beliefs surfaced, I would ask myself if they were true or just lingering conditionings I needed to work through. This daily intentionality and self-awareness helped me break through the fictitious stories I had been telling myself.
Now, I write my own story. I AM WORTHY, I AM CAPABLE, I DESERVE TO BE SEEN—no matter what the room looks like. I reckon, the rooms will always be filled with people who don’t look like me if I never cross the threshold. So, I step in, knowing that I belong just as much as anyone else.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
At Quantum Wave Therapeutics, I guide people on a journey that goes beyond the surface—into a haven where ancient wisdom and modern practices are integrated to create transformative healing. What makes my work so exciting and special is the way it honors the ‘Whole Human.’ I’ve woven together a tapestry of practices like aromatherapy, meditation, Quantum Touch energy healing, sound therapy, and yoga, creating a unique blend that speaks to every layer of our being—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
The most thrilling part for me is witnessing the shift that occurs when someone steps into the space and allows themselves to prioritize their well-being. Each person’s journey is different, and also, there’s a universal thread of empowerment and self-discovery that runs through them all. What I do here at Quantum Wave Therapeutics isn’t just about alleviating pain or stress; it’s about nurturing a balanced, vibrant life where peace isn’t just an idea but a lived experience.
This work feels like the culmination of my own quest for balance and restoration. I am sharing the tools that brought me back to wholeness, and watching them work their magic for others is beyond rewarding. When people leave feeling more connected to themselves and their path, I know I have done something truly meaningful. That’s the heart and soul of Quantum Wave Therapeutics—a sanctuary where you find your way back to your most authentic, vibrant self.
I’m excited to share that I’ve been awarded sponsorship through Colorado Access and the Black Birthing Mental Health Initiative fund, allowing me to offer Whole Human session scholarships to the Black birthing community for free through May of 2025. For those who don’t qualify for the scholarship, I’ve partnered with ClassPass to provide the Whole Human session experience at a generously discounted rate. I’m also working on making more discounted services available through Groupon, and I’ll be hosting sliding scale events at Urban Sanctuary and Sakala in Denver in the coming months. One of my missions with Quantum Wave Therapeutics is to make alternative medicine practices accessible to anyone curious to explore this path.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, self-awareness, and the willingness to embrace discomfort.
Resilience was key when I transitioned from the corporate realm to the entrepreneurial world. Leaving behind the security of a steady paycheck to follow a deeper calling required a strong inner resolve. Resilience kept me moving forward, even when the path wasn’t clear. It’s what kept me committed to building Quantum Wave Therapeutics, even when doubt or fear tried to take over.
Self-awareness has been my compass. Understanding my own inner landscape—knowing when I’m aligned with my purpose and when I’m veering off course—has been crucial. This self-awareness has allowed me to recognize and release the stories and conditioning that were holding me back. It’s also what enables me to show up authentically in the spaces where I once felt out of place. I’ve learned to honor my own voice and intuition, and that’s been a game changer.
Willingness to embrace discomfort is what led to my growth. It’s easy to stay where we feel safe, but stepping into unfamiliar spaces, whether it’s working with new communities or putting myself out there at events where I might be the only one who looks like me, has pushed me to expand. Each time I chose to lean into the discomfort, I found new strength, new connections, and new opportunities to serve my community in deeper ways.
For those early in their journey, my advice is to cultivate these qualities with INTENTION. Start by building resilience—take small, consistent steps toward your goals, even when it’s hard. Develop self-awareness by spending time in reflection, meditation, or journaling, and listen closely to what your inner voice is telling you. Finally, don’t shy away from discomfort. It’s where the real growth happens. Embrace it as a sign that you’re on the right path, and trust that each step forward is bringing you closer to your true purpose.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely, I’m very interested in partnering with corporate spaces looking to bring more mindfulness to their employees and collaborating for events, workshops and retreats. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when we bring together different modalities, and I’m excited to explore the collective energy that’s created when we work together. I’m particularly looking to connect with other holistic wellness practitioners, as well as those who specialize in areas like acupuncture, chiropractic care, and both Eastern and Western medicine—especially those who are open to integrating alternative medicine into their practice.
If you’re reading this and feel drawn to collaborate, I’d love to connect and explore how we can create something impactful together. You can reach out to me through email [email protected]. Let’s see what kind of wholeness we can cultivate together!
