I find purpose by responding to challenges and stimulus within my immediate environment whilst pushing to break boundaries from locally to globally

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Esimaje Michael Onoseme is a Cross Sectorial Professional Serving as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Pariti and Country Sales Partner with Dimitra. He’s the Managing Partner of Smart Gate Technologies and Consulting as well as the Global Director of TEM Foundation.
A seasoned Mediator, Extractive Mineral Consultant, Digital/Human Right Facilitator, Human Resource Business Partner, Employability Consultant, Product Manager and Creative Business Developer who specializes in the provision of real time career and business solutions. He possesses specialized skills in the areas of Technical Recruitment and Human Capital Development.
Over the last 10+ years he has worked with a number of start-ups & established firms as both a consultant, trainer and in-house employee in order to help them deploy their much-needed strategic interventions including: drafting and deploying of talent acquisition plans; gathering of required business and human capital metrics; creation and management of software operational systems while driving interactive employee engagement focused on breaking work silos. Esimaje is a Digital Business Manager, IRATA Rope Access level 1 Technician, Science Educator and a Google level “6” Local guide on internet governance, he’s also a regional Coordinator for Commonwealth Youth Peace ambassadors’ network (CYPAN) (2016). Esimaje is a 2022 Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Fellow, 2021 The Next Economy (TNE) Grant Fellow, 2022 Social impact Innovation Grant Fellow and he’s currently pursuing a Fully Funded MBA in DPU-COL, Pune, India.
He’s Certified Relationship Coach, Mental Health Therapist and Peer Mediator with the DEPA and PEDEAP as well a Youth_Can_Lead Ambassador 2018, youth for Technology Ambassador (July 2017) and local Coordinator for Africa Students for liberty (ASFL) (June 2017). Esimaje has been pushing for liberty focused change since 2016 and he became an Atlas freedom Advocate August 2018 (Award by Atlas Network USA). He became an ILAPI TV, Ghana Research Fellow and an INFRA- Nigeria Fellow both in 2018 respectively. He’s a co-founder/CTO of Qhnets Technology Initiative an instrument for building tech-based communities within Nigeria and across Africa.
In 2021, He rose based on excellence in service from the role of a Manager – Management Consultant to becoming a Facilitator at Apex Group and an Itsekiri language manager at the Kasahorow Foundation. He has extensively over 13 years of experience in training cum educational related activities. He’s actively involved in offering peace mediation, security/safety talks on STEM, Cryptocurrency, Leadership, Training, Education, Agribusiness and peace building. Esimaje is a 2018 Business Entrepreneurship Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre West Africa. Till date, Esimaje has recruited, mentored and manage over 80,560+ Talent across multiple sectors as an HR Consultant. He’s passionate about Providing Digital Jobs to young Talents remotely, he’s personally procured over 1022+ jobs to members of the public Across.

Currently, I’m currently leading a couple of projects which includes the my debut film ” True Reflection” True Reflection is a film woven from the daily traumatic struggles of young African women’s travail in hands of abusive husband and serves as a wake up call to stand in solidarity against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Women and Girls(VAWG).

I’m also currently at the planning and implementation phase of our non profit AI driven Applications in development such Isabicheck and Kpemi App respectively.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, I’d personal accountability, integrity and resilience has been very key to my development
