Meet Estefania Iglesias

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Estefania Iglesias a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Estefania with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My parents, My dad died when I was 9 years old he was a Doctor and he would take me with him to underserved areas to check on patients never charged them anything, one time a very old lady gave me money for his fees and told me don’t tell him yet hide it until you get home sometimes up to 2 hours he would drive to visit them, when I told him half way he got so mad and drove back to give her money back. My dad never charged an underprivileged person, that was his passion helping others specially the ones who needed it the most
My mom was 32 when she was widowed. She went back to study at a University 5 hours from our city she would study then take a bus to take the exams and come back to our city to care for us three.
Then she graduated with honors as a lawyer within a few years of hard working and dedication she became a Family Jude in a small town 330 Kms away from our city for several years until finally she was offered to take the Family Judge position in our city and she worked there for 13 years until she retired.
However she still teaches at the Catholic University until today.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Stray true to yourself, keep working hard and do the right thing, even if it seems like nothing is changing, eventually you will see it, and every sacrifice that you made it will be worth it.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am always open to collaborate with colleagues, or people in the industry that wants to work in a fun project, or helping the community, empowering people.
