Meet Estella Kirk

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Estella Kirk. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Estella below.

Estella , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Confidence and self-esteem took awhile for me to achieve, I remember always comparing myself to people I saw on social media when I was younger, and sometimes I still do. It wasn’t until I was constantly talking to God and focusing on putting my confidence in him that I began to be able to walk into a room and be confident, because I realized my confidence comes from God not me.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a christian Artist, being able to write songs and tell stories about my life or what Jesus has done through me is one of the most exciting Jobs! I am currently working on writing songs for a new EP, as well as moving to Nashville in January!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Some of the best qualities, and skills I have learned are being able to be the bigger person and walk away when you need to for your own peace. Also having a good work ethic, and sticking things out when they get tough, thats something my parents have always taught me, its easy to put in the work when you see results fast, but sometimes you have to wait a long time to see your work pay off.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
One obstacle I’m facing is creating real and authentic content, consistently, sounds small but I want people to see the real me and hear my music consistently but its hard to make time to write, post, learn covers, work on your voice, work on stage presence, etc. being balanced is something I strive for everyday and have gotten so much better at through journaling, making to-do list, and reading my bible.
